Do you really know basketball? I guess Duke was over rated for losing on the road to Virginia last night. Same for the other highly ranked NCAA teams who have been beaten ON THE ROAD in their conference play. You won at home.You have a good team. But so does SU. I would love to see TxSU again on a neutral court. But we know it will not happen thanks to the NCAA. Congrats on the wins this regular season. But the Jags are back and we have a good coach who can recruit. We will only get better. Unlike that sad arse former boyfriend of yours who took our program to the bottom. SMH. Glad that mofo selling furniture. We would be 9-20 if he was the head coach instead of 20-9. Neither Bama State or SU miss his arse. LOL. Maybe when Mike Davis gets another job, you can lobby TxSU to hire Spivery. Then you can have him to yourself.

Hey Herb, what's up?!! You better check with DCG on that. She wouldn't mind looking at Spivery roam the sidelines of TxSU.

As for Mike Davis. Dude is a good guy, well liked and can coach. I would not be shocked if he gets some attention from a bigger program this off season. You know how it goes. Might be quite a few openings this year too.
 
Tsu previous coach should get credit for this team, as he recruited them all. We will see what kind of coach Davis is next year with no Omar Strong lol.
 
I was at the game last night and sat right across from M-9. Our usual scorers had a hard time hitting there shots and Omar Strong was on fire. But what really hurt us was the screens that were set to free up Omar for the three pointers. Outside of that he didn't really impact the game. Greater shooter from deep. But I really expected Coach Banks to tell his guards to fight over the top of the screen so that they could beat him to the mark. The screener kept sticking his knee out and we couldn't get any calls from that baldheaded ref on the baseline. But oh well. We'll bounce back on Saturday.

As much as we ALL were not fond of THarvey's X's and O's we knew he was not the best but we did know he could sit in the living room of a kid's home and "sweet talk" his mom and "thug talk" the athlete. :lol:

Year 1 of the Chico era is done. I honestly believe by year 3 we will be SWAC Champs. Very few blowouts and competed in all the games against the top teams

Very, very good game last night! Tried my best to make the last game for our boys, even tried to get out of work to make the road trip. I knew it was going to be good, remembering how the UAPB/MVSU game ended last year!

So very, very proud of my boys; we had a great season!:flippy::flippy: Hopefully the boys will get their grades up so we can compete in the tournament next time.
 



you get no argument about the make up of the team being THarvey's guys...except for Kyrie and Rosenberg. THarvey can find players...he coaching is suspect and his treatment of players. I heard a couple had planned to not play this season if he was the coach this season....and two of them have contributed quite well.
