Georgia Tech/ACC 2013 Football Schedule released.

Did you really say September schedule? Even if you wanna go that route, Tech's October is much better than UGAgs.

That is becasue you are in Georgia. You will get that in about two hours.

It has been at least 30 years and you can't spell "because" yet so two more hours can't hurt much? :emlaugh:

Looking at Tech's October schedule, I am pretty certain Georgia would go through it unscathed. However, looking at Georgia's September schedule, I am pretty sure that the only team Tech would beat is North Texas and that wouldn't be a guarantee (and you know I am right). If you tell me GT would beat SC, Clemson or LSU the truth is not in you. :emlaugh:

And just so you know, we don't have attendance woes. What is that? We sell tickets and we have a good home attendance average. I have never gone to a Tech game wishing there were more people there. It does help when you play a "sexy" opponent or an opponent that travels well but we we have enough of our own fans to get up to 80-90% capacity at EVERY game.

We realize that we are not UGA and we thank God for it. We are a global university...literally.

Man please...i've been to several GT home games and yall cant fill up that stadium so save your lives if it isn't Clemson, VT, Miami or UGA. And it is NOT 80% every game lol, they may sell those tickets but it damn sure isn't fans in the stands. And this is a sports thread, tech would love to be in UGA's position football wise stop fooling yourself.

For years, TP has been on here trying to boost tech up to be much bigger than what they are. It's comical to me. tech has no fanbase and he knows it.

po tech

And he'll get personal on you if you tell him the truth about UGA being superior and then will try to divert to academics. :emlaugh:

Not sure what games you have bene to but again, I have never felt the stadium was empty. What you are talking about is the seats on the home side that are purchased by the major donors. AGAIN, most GaTech fans don't live in ATL. There are plenty of season ticket holders here in Philly so no, they don't go every week but we ain't never been begging for our tickets to be sold.

As for wanting to be UGA in football. I am a GT alum and I don't ever sit and say I want to be like UGA. Why? They ain't hitting on nothing over there. You are SEC so that goes with the territory but you are not an nationally known comodity like GaTech is. We have people from all of the country who WANT to play for Tech. You have people in Macon, Georgia wanting to play for ya'll. All I can is this. I am much happier on Saturday in Philly as a Tech fan than a UGA fan because the people in the bars here wanna see us play. That is only going to get bigger with the addition of Pitt and Syracuse. There is NEVER a UGA game on the TV or a UGA fans seen in downtown. In short, outside of Georgia..(actually middle Georgia), UGA ain't schitt!

When is the last time GT won a BCS bowl? When is the last time GT even won the ACC? lol...and the rest of your post is just dumb. Once again I got caught taking your posts serious when I should've just not even replied. And I have no idea where these GT fans are but they damn sure don't show up and support the team. And what's sad about the comparison is, UGA has a better overall record in a conference 10 times tougher than the ACC. And they've pretty much owned GT over the past 25 years. If you were to ask a GT fan, with common sense, would they prefer their team be in UGA's position there's not a single oneof them that would say no unless they just had foolish pride blinding them. In the ACC you basically only have 2 maybe 3 teams that you even need to win against to easily win that conference...Florida State, Clemson and VT. Miami is about to be on probation for who knows how long, VT hasn't done anything the past few years so, FSU is basically the conference's only hope right now. If you can't be competitive in the ACC as it is now you need to start over from scratch..and get rid of that triple option ish. Yall haven't been relevant in Atlanta since Joe Hamilton lol.

TP, we're talking about football. Surely you have to know that in football UGA is much better known and respected. .

Better known because of its affliation with the SEC than the school itself. UGA is a run of the mill SEC school - nothing special about its tradition or winning prowess. However, nothing is more conspicuous than the traditions of the Ramblin Wreck with our history with Heisman and Dodd as coach and our four national titles (still two more than the bull pups).

Like SU, UGA may have more fans in state, but like TP wrote GT (like Icon Gram) is globally respected!

TP, I will see you in Charlotte!

I knew it wouldn't be too long before this thread brought you back from oblivion. :emlaugh: The kind of season Grambling is having this year in basketball and football does remind me of GT. :emlaugh:

As a moderator, I ought to delete this thread. LOL

but I digress....

83,
tech didn't want any parts of mighty middle tn. They BEGGED to play tech again. tech ran.

and JROCK,
Duke aint a sure win for tech.

TP,
With Kennesaw State starting a team and Ga State having one, it is time for tech to come on to its rightful place in FCS. Imagine the Peach State Conference

Ga State
Kennesaw State
Ga Tech
Ft Valley
Albany
Savannah St
Ga Sou

tech would be middle tier in that conference too. Much like they are now.

Damn!! So much for the high road when it comes to Yech err I mean Tech huh MH?

What's up gSUpe? Must be hard knowing both your alma maters are having such tough times sports wise these days.

JR, you know ya boy is sick. My eyes should have never seen a winless season at a storied jewel like Gram. The blueprint was built for a winless season to be an impossibility. I am more worried about Doug than GT. We are making a push to recruit out of state, which will help my Jackets. Doug is still adjusting to the new rules; problem is not sure if the worst is behind us or still in our face.

Like SU,UGA may have more fans in state,

bahahahahahahahahaha

what up GSupe

JR,
You're right. I'm gonna start trying to take the high road with lil ole tech. Seeing how they wanna be bigtime, but have no fans and get little to no play, even in their own hometown, tech deserves pity.

po tech :(

These dudes are delusional lol. They don't have as many fans in state but somehow have more nationally. Is Georgia Tech more nationally known for academics, of course. But for sports its not even close.

Does Tech still give away free tickets to the high school kids? :emlaugh: We still wouldn't attend when it was free.

Sports? You mean football right? UGAs sports program is not better than Tech's. For a school that ONLY has football, ya'll really ain't that good in that. You need to accept that. Do they have better football than Tech, YES..but even your football program on most years is not so much better than ours for us to want to trade. That's sad considering ya'll not good in any other sport. Do you have better basketball than GaTech? Does your baseball program go to the college world series? You ONLY have football. And don't forget that Tech left the SEC becasue we didn't agree with many things that were later changed and many things that are still debatable today (like oversigning). As usual, we were trailblazers.

But back to football...

The series record is Series Record is UGA 62 - GT 40 - 5 Ties. The way ya'll talk, you would think we have never beat UGA in football.

Even in the last 10 years, MOST of the games have been close. And in the last 9 years, SIX of the UGA-GT games have been decided by a touchdown or less. These are the facts. So if you think that 30K more fans and some 3-7 points wins over Tech make you the gods of GA, enjoy your dream. If I put ALL I had into a football program, I sure would be embarrassed if almost 70% of the time, I could only beat a school of nerds by less than a TD.

You clearly have NO idea what you are talking about. GT owns Clemson and Miami probably won't be on probation. VT hasn't done anything in a long time? When was the last time Tech won the ACC? Really dude? Why are you here? It's obvious you are only interested in the SEC and you know NOTHING about any other conference. When did the SEC get 10 times tougher than the ACC? That is simply SEC delusion. That's like when u said UGA has 10 times the number of fans as Tech. PURE delusion.

And again, it's not about being relevant in Atlanta. We are relevant nationally and internationally....even in football. Tech has a mystique that UGA simply lacks. And we have fans across the nation and campuses across the globe.

You are only here because of a few 3 and 4 point football wins over Tech and a higher football attendance average. if that makes you feel good... :smh:

Oh and before I forget...
