Pretty quiet divorce...

I must be the only one not surprised by this. Don't know the details behind his divorce, but the way he glamorizes infidelity and cheating on his show, what's more surprising is that his marriage lasted this long. Besides, if I'm not mistaken, he was "involved" with Donna Richardson longer than he was married to her. I was surprised when he finally married her.

Lioness, that could just be for show. Boys just being boys. Even the most faithful guys I know talk about pimping and cats running women.

That was just for show...lol. I hope the best for him and Donna.
 
I am really beginning to realize religion has made black women lives miserable. Sad. Black women are really prudes. There is a reason everyone prefers other races of women. No disrespect to you, but sometimes you gotta separate life and religion.

Tom married up in this marriage. Never did see what Donna saw in this macho-man wannabee pot belly guy.

That alone speaks volume of how many black women can't seperate the two worlds. Many of our sisters will never live in reality of life. No disrespect, I just have been paying attention more and more the similar views of black women in this world. Black women have to learn to step outside of their comfort zones, old taught ways and letting the church keep them single. The passa and his wife stepped out more then his flock realizes.....

I simply commented on how I wasn't surprised by Tom Joyner's divorce. Again, I don't know the details behind his divorce, but again, he does glamorize infidelity & cheating on his morning show. I realize he probably does it to boost and keep his audience, but he does it and has been doing it a lot for years and years.
 
Tom's job is to entertain. Doesn't mean he lives that life style. Seperating those two are hard for die hard church folks.

if there were 3rd parties involved as they are reporting, there has been a separation of church and daily life, wouldn't you say. I find it interesting that you made the assumption that there was something wrong with the wife--that her prudishness was the reason....did I miss something in the 3 line story?


And who is hating on black women all the time? Yep, our brethren, kings, lovers, mates....POW! Its ingrained and you don't even realize it.
 
I look at Tom Joyner as an entertainer. He will say stuff for a check. I think celebrity marriages never last anyway.....

Interesting perception to say the least. Sometimes you have to throw religion totally out. One will be much happier and liberated. Until then, folks will continue to feel guilty about their actions, and for no legitimate reason.

She used Tom to get her name out there and open doors she couldn't get in. She cheated after she used him up. Typical of those kind of women....

Keep up CT. I said most black women are lonely and boring because they are prudes. Black women are so caught up in being religious they don't understand religion. Seriously, black women do not step outside of their comfort zone. In other words black women are boring. They don't like to be challenged or try anything different.
