Here again and this is typical of individuals with a lack of understanding and biblical application as it applies to today’s world. Both scriptures support each other.
This particular scripture is not directed at black women, but women in general a”nagging or brawling wife. The dripping roof, easily understood, has anyone ever had a dripping faucet or a leak in their roof. It annoying, and what do you do to stop constant dripping? However the dripping is continues “drip, drip, drip” So a woman’s nagging, brawling, arguing, is like the leaky roof, dripping when it rains.
In some bible ,the following words are used wickedness and mischievous.
Now if you want to be more specific, here it is.
It's better to live alone in the desert than with a quarrelsome, complaining wife.
Proverbs 21:9
This proverb makes sense, if you think about it. It is better to live alone outside, exposed to the outside elements, than in the home, if one has to share the inside with a scolding woman. The desert, means being alone, away from the “Nagging, Quarrelsome, Complaining Wife / Companion”
Some bibles say it is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop than with a brawling woman, in a wide house.
This is why a majority of the time men, whether it be your husband or companion. When an argument starts, after a few minutes the man will leave the home, in order to end the argument. However, in the process of him leaving the female will continue to argue, running behind the man, in some case using all types of foul language and throwing objects.
Next, the first thing that said by the female, is I guess you are going over your “Ho’s” house or hang out with your boys” why are you doing this and that. And you continue the verbal and sometime physical assault on the man.
Furthermore, women will damage other individuals property, to include pouring chemicals in gas tanks, breaking out windshields, keying cars and the list goes on.
In most cases, men can argue and within a day, maybe hours they are having a beer.
Its better have a peaceful condition than physical comforts with strife.
Young generation, Iwill accept that as a complement.
