They went out there & did the damn thang!!! I LOVED IT!!!!
 
Kudos to my other alma mater and TBDBITL as they call themselves. They really take pride in that band program too.

Big Ten band programs who we patterned ourselves after. Only schools that allowed our legendary band directors come study for grad school/music doctoral programs.

no overblowing no dance routine...I actually think that dance routine should be cut considering they all suck nowadays....

Best part about it is you dont have a half illiterate person talking all over the intercom while the band is playing.

Easily the best halftime show I ever seen.

Ohio State has always impressed me. I love their Script Ohio drill.

Ohio State University football game against Nebraska, the Buckeyes' marching band upped the ante on on-field spectacle with a tribute to classic video games, once again demonstrating why they're called "TBDBITL," or "The Best Damn Band In The Land."

Accompanied by brassy performances of musical themes from "Pac-Man" and "The Legend of Zelda" to "Halo," the band showed off some pretty fancy choreographed footwork, animating characters with their ever-shifting formation.

Ohio State has a great band program and they do things well. However, I have been seeing variations of this same show for the last 5 years at the high school level. They were done just as well as this performance by OSU. Take nothing away from the Buckeyes' performance. It was EXCELLENT. However, we've seen it all before ... a lot.
