Please name one time in U.S. history where a candidate has purposely lost a debate by looking lost and out of place and by uttering Ummmm's and Uhhhhhh's only to set up someone for the next debate?

Man, I already know who I am voting for....aint no debate gonna change that. I'm pretty sure the Obama supporters would echo the same sentiment for their candidate. But I must admit, a small part of me kinda wants Obama to win just so I can hear what the excuses will be over the next four years. Yeah, it's the small part of me that likes to watch fights on Basketball wives and WorldStarHipHop.

I kind of want Romney to win so I can hear the excuses of how he had to clean up what Obama did the last 4 years and watch Tea Party Republicans be pissed off when Romney gives them no voice in the White House. LOL.

Poor Fox News, wonder what they will do if there is a Republican President and Congress. What excuses will be made then.

The era from 2001 through 2007 is an example of how faux news and conservatives would react and govern.
 
Since this is the smack board...I am convinced that Obama was ready to hook up with Michelle to do some uhhhhh...."anniversary celebrating". I'm thinking he was like "fugg this debate and Mitt Romney. Hell, I wanna get with FLOTUS" :lol:

Whats the big deal on either side.
Neither candidate said anything different than what they have been saying over and over for the last 6 months. Let the fact checkers tell who the winner is. I been on the news boards reading all day and people are slobbering all over themselves, Ds and Rs, like this Q@A is gonna change the way anybody is going to vote.

Its politics................ Lies and streached truths.

It was not about how great Romney was or what he said ... it was about President Obama falling short of expections.

I think you're right ... He would be crazy to throw a debate. Stakes are too high.

The President needs a R-E-F-I-L-L.
 
I personally don’t feel that Romney won the debate. All I got from this first debate was Romney still will not tell the voting people if he’s elected into office, what is his plan to make USA better. All I heard from him last night was all of his commercials ads wrap up in the debate. Now did Romney do a GREAT job of NOT answering the few questions that was asked? YES. Did Romney TALK the TALK (Politics)? YES. But at what time will he stop playing “I want to be President Politics” and tell us what he will do besides cut this, repeal that. Once he “cut” and “repeal” this and that, what will he replace it with??? The voucher question was never answered by Romney…

Now some people like/prefer the “Aggressive, Defense style” of debating which the media and some people feed into but we also need to take into account is this behavior we want to represent the USA.

And the funny thing but said thing to me, a lot of people saying the President not doing this and didn’t do this but how can he pass anything if the House and Senate don’t want to work with the POTUS? I think people fail to realize the POTUS is just the Leader of the country and the House and Senate is the decision maker.

Were you undecided going to the polls in 2000? It appears like you had made a decision to not vote for Gore or Bush. I just don't know of anyone who is undecided after a campaign that has been going on for over a year.

Romney or Ryan (one of them) said something about a 12% or 14% tax cut across the board as well as eliminating various deductions in the tax code. An answer was never given how to pay for this, how to make up the revenue (wihout fuzzy logic), or what deductions are specifically being cut. My question is: how does this help the middle class?
 
A master of "Diversionese" can easily sway the masses with his BS!!!! And it was proven last night!!!!

Eventually, Romney WILL have to answer that lingering question, "HOW". It might not be today...it might not be tomorrow...but definitely within the next 2-3 weeks. I think everybody expected Obama to go in on Romney about Bane Capital, and that 47% fiasco. That almost seemed like a given. Yet Obama didn't even bring it up last night. You could tell he was holding back.
