Alabama A&M at Texas Southern: Game Updates - 11:00pm CT

He played Patterson? :| Jesus be a coaching staff and a secondary for my alma mater the rest of this season. :(

Sorry, 07 that was parker not patterson for our last series, he looked really good though. Led the team on a scoring drive. He is playing now too!

Amen! on your comment.

Ok...I'm out...always good to talk with my fellow Bulldog Alums...Texas Southern, I hope your season gets better or the powers that be can turn the program back around...later...

asberry has the qb out there just slinging the ball w/no one in the backfield. He must didn't learn his lesson in Denton.

Ok he put someone in the backfield now. asberry has a little t. harvey in him.

Patterson? I don't see a Patterson out there...Parker has been playing QB.

Sleeper said he played the freshman for a series. Can you confirm s phi s? I hope he did not burn Patterson's redshirt for a series in a game we already lost. The SWAC-TV link started skipping so I thought that I had missed it. I only saw Parker this half as well.

Wait the freshman QB's name that was supposed to take a redshirt this year was Jones I think not Patterson. Did anyone else play a down this half at QB other than Parker?

I can't say I saw this one coming. Thought the game would be much more competitive.

Kenn, I thought the same thing. I honestly thought TXSU would come out swinging against AAMU & that this would be a close somewhat evenly matched game that TXSU would pull off. No disrespect to JSU or AAMU, I thought after a disappointing loss to Jackson, Texas Southern would take their frustrations out on the Bulldogs.

But I never thought THIS would happen......WOW....just WOW!

I picked TXSU to win but I have to give AAMU major props!

Have asked everyone involved with stadium production, as well as my rooftop spotter, and nobody remembers seeing anyone other than Johnson (the starter) and Parker. I definitely don't remember seeing any other number.

Good! That is what I thought I saw as well. Thanks Sleeper for getting us riled up about the freshman blowing his redshirt LOL

Congrats on the win A&M. Going to be a tough road for my Tigers from here on out.

Just left the game! I've seen TSU play much better than this. MOVE THOSE CHAINS!

I believe the max you can give is 25 per year in addition to what you have already given

I have been asking about that. Now it's wasn't from the ncaa, but is was a good source that the 20 whe had to give up for APR will come back for next season ready to offer and the 20 sr's (hopefully graduating don't know how many are on scholi) leaving scholarships will be available to offer. Is it an ncaa rule that you can only give 25 per year. Seems I've heard of that b4 but not shure how it works. But I know we can't go over 65 or 68 something like that total.

I don't know much about that part of building the college team. I know we were reduced by 20 this year and we have 22 Sr. on the team. Hell I was hoping we could use them all. So if we were down 20 because of ncaa, then 20 graduate, we can still only give 25?

Talked with your associate AD and he said that they will only have 20 to give next year.

That's the pain the NCAA can bring on your program. Bama State can tell you all about the loss of scollies will have on a team.

Wish I had known that you were there...

Bulldog fans, I wouldn't judge too much about your offense after playing this game. TSU's defense has given up 41 points/game this year. Look at how PV and JSU have fared the week AFTER, though. Injuries and inexperience have ravage their D, so I wouldn't make any blanket statements about your offense after this game.

You do know Jones doesn't run the score up don't you? We could have scored way more. Jones has class unlike the rest of the SWAC coaches. Jones will never bust the clock, it is not his style.

Also to prove Jones plays clock management, one of our drives took 10 minutes. I know the other SWAC coaches don't teach fundamentals, but Jones does. That is why we win and have only two losing seasons in 10 years. Everyone else has them 6 years.

You missed the whole point of my statement, but carry on...
