PRESIDENT OBAMA

6.5/10. He clearly is in command right now but we shall see what happens between now and November. These jobs numbers aren't looking good. However, he has run the most efficient campaign operation ever seen on the face of the earth and Mitt just isn't a good candidate.

It depends on how loyal and energized Obama's core supporters are. Obama is clearly the better candidate across the board. But considering the mentality of people today, we tend to vote on impulse instead of doing it objectively. With that said, it's gonna be a close call... Prolly 6/10 should he win.

5/10

Obama lost some of the support from the younger white people who voted for him in the first election. The debates will tell the tale.

9.5/10. The system to steal it from him are being exposed, and he's clearly the better candidate and The President. I'm ready to move forward.
Pop is right about the job figures, and I don't know if Panth is being sarcastic, but it did boil my blood.

Sen. Kerry had the best line of the night with, "Gov. Romney seems to learn about Russia from 'Rocky IV.' :emlaugh:

Everyone has a right and a right to be mutually respected for whatever decision they make or what their belief system is. What I find overly comical is the almost inhumane belligerence that democrats show towards republicans(party) while the reverse isn't true because for the most part, repubs DGAF about democrats or even what they're doing or the illogical rhetoric most speak lol. I guess I'd be belligerent too if I knew unequivocally that I wasn't being thought about lol.

The kumbahyah silly "brother"Hand-holding bullshit is over. It died in the early 1970s, thankfully. I hope each candidate puts his best foot forward and does his best when america speaks on 11/06/2012.

That's because so called Repubs don't give a fugg about anything but their pockets, which is fine, but in the process of getting yours, move out of my/our way and let us get ours.

+1. I agree JH. Sounds like a repub to me.

No one owes anyone anything in this country. I side with the party that believes and lives this ideology. Competition. Survival. That's what america is.

No one owes anyone anything, but if I can help you get on your feet, you bet I'm going to try to help you out, just like people helped me out along the way.

For me and speaking for self only, I'm only going to help those that are deemed worthy to recv help. Not so sure what others think or do. Nor do I remotely care. I only side w/ those who share my belief. Mercifully, I was reared in it and try to help maintain it. I'd hope my younger seeds would do likewise, although in remote states.

May whichever candidate wins moves this country back to where it needs to be economically, #1.

I can agree with this. The thing that worries me about Romney is where is his heart? If he gets in, he's going to do the bidding of those who paid for his campaign, which really doesn't bode well for us.

I agree though with you on the aspect of help. That's why I stated I would try to help. One must show initative and a passion/seal for life to get anything out of me. I can waste my own money. :emlaugh:

Somethin' just ain't right with that Romney person and the family... I can see it in their eyes. Something tells me not to trust them. I'm sticking with the Obamas on this one.

Really feeling you on this post, JH, and your other ones!

Folks don't want to see others progress, but talk about wanting to see the country move forward. That's funny, considering how this country right now is indebted to China and so dependent on resources from other countries.

One thing I can say about President Obama is that he does understand that at one point in our lives, we all need help and that certain things need to be in place in order for those who need help can get it. It's not a permanent thing, just the chance everyone wants to have so they can try. I like how the President has met with military generals & strategists who know first hand that they don't want or need surplus. I love how President Obama addressed this in his nomination acceptance speech; cut that particular surplus because it isn't needed & use that money to pay off our debt to China.

When we pay off our debt to those who gave US a handout, we can get back to taking care of our own so the country can progress.
