BCU looks to me as the best HBCU team this year and the only game on JSU's schedule I see them losing and no chance of winning is MSU. I don't see JSU finishing lower than 2nd in the SWAC EAST and based on last year's performance and their defense this year I would put them at pre-season number 2... No hate, just "REALITY"

GR, we normally agree to disagree. But I am right with you on this. I can't agree with this poll either. And I say this without SMACK seriously. After seeing JSU play Ms State. It is no way I believe than some of those teams that won can beat them.

When doing a poll, I think you have to respect the previous poll. So you would necessarily move the winners from the previous week up and in the case of JSU, leave them alone because they played a 1-A team. Then figure out where to place the remaining teams. I would have started out like this...

AlaState and GSU should maintain some ranking IF the original methodolgy had any form of merit. You don’t go from #1 to out of the top 10. :smh: I would def remove FAMU and PV and consider addding Morgan, Del State, TxSO, and Alcorn
Respecting the first poll, you would almost have to add Alcorn since they beat the number 3 team. That # 10 spot would be a tough one to vote on. But my poll would look like this based on how things were ranked in week 1.

I wish we had a credible BCF poll. Its obvious this polls main job is to somehow get TxSU and PV in the top 10. And yes TP you have to be a JSU hater to vote in this poll.

I can't even believe I'm saying this but I agree with GR :lol: So Michigan got skull drugged by Alabama and they are still #19 in the polls but JSU lost to a superior opponent and dropped out the polls...
I agree with your post... outside of them losing to Valley on Oct. 20th, JSU should have 8-9 wins easily this year. I posted on Twitter 9 wins is the most any Mississippi schools will win this year (MSU, USM, JSU)

LOL.. you need to let Panthro88 or somebody else white read for you. I did my selection in steps based on the first poll. Re-read what i did... I moved up the winning teams and also moved up JSU because we played a 1-A team but I kept all winning teams and JSU in the same order. Then I put the losing teams on the bottom to see if they should stay. That is all.. in THAT order!
But I did modify it for you so you could see what I did.
