2012 FCS vs FBS upsets!

The best FCS teams can beat the low low level FBS schools like Idaho, Army, Duke and North Texas (after last year, you can take Vandy off that list).

Ain't Alcorn still on the contract for next season or the next two seasons? I would love to play McNeese again. However, I WANT TO BEAT ULM in Monroe more than anything.

Next year changes that. Check out Doug's interview about his displeasure with the SWAC.

Well I sure hope Grambling goes back to what the Port City Classic was scheduled to be before the Grambling officals got carried away by the whole " Doug vs Spears-teacher vs student " ticket selling hype:

1. Taking on an in-state FBS program.
2. Taking on a local FBS program. (I was told that Arkansas State was in the cards, but I know for a fact that talks between GSU and North Texas were going on in 2009 for a 2011 game in Shreveport.)
3. Taking on a local Southland Conferance team. (McNeese State, Northwestern State and Southeastern Louisiana all were on the list.)

Hopefully the decision to play Alcorn doesn't make those FBS programs change their minds at this point. If so, I think Grambling needs to talk to upcoming FBS programs like South Alabama or UTSA for 2013 or 2014. In 2010, Grambling became the first ever FCS program to have hosted a FBS program since the NCAA divisional change. Just think about how great it would have been for Grambling and the SWAC if they would have kept that going.

BTW, in 2013... Ball State plays at Illinois State... In 2014, Army plays at Yale...

Youngstown State beat Pitt by two touchdowns. What a joke the Pitt program has become.

Well they pushed Dave Wanstadt out when he did a good job. They got pissed with him because he didn't win the Big East out right. But at least he was winning and getting to bowl games and not losing to FCS schools. The other thing that happened to them is their last coach left for Arizona State after one year I believe and then the coach before that never got to coach because of the domestic violence issue with his girlfriend right after they had let Wannstadt go. So they now have the former OC from Wisconsin.........yeah that Wisconsin who is an offensive juggernaut. LOL. So they are getting what they deserved. Should have left Wannstadt alone.

Tennessee-Martin wins at Memphis. Yes, the same Memphis who is moving to the Big East next season. I guess they need someone to replace Pitt at the bottom of the league. :)

Damnnnnn! I really though Memphis was good enough to win this game. However, I am not happy that they fired Larry Davis after only two years.

Texas State 30 Houston 13!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The new OC was in over his head, with charles Sims & 2 more stud running back, not mention a plethora speedy highly recruited receiver, this guy didn't have a clue how to utilize that much talent. That's why they fired his ass after that debacle. :happydance: That's right he is 1and done........
