I liked Broadway's style at Grambling. It was hard-nosed, grown-man football on both sides of the ball.

Yeah. You are right about that. But Broadway was so boring! Sitting through Grambling's games at that time were just like watching a 1919 Yale vs Harvard game:
3 yard run
3 yard run
5 yard run 1st down.
4 yard run
1 yard run
6 yard pass 1st down.
All the way to the end zone.

I have no problem if you're getting 1st downs and eating up clock..passing the ball is fun but it can be a long game if no one is connecting...that's boring

May been boring but it was effective and he won. That's what matters, winning. Would should have been very thankful for that. Glad we are still on track though.
