Lupe Fiasco is an outspoken artist who trails the path for younger and even older rappers in the industry.

“One hand, you have someone who is a great speaker, but kills little children – our president,†he noted. “I’m talking about ordering a drone attack. Ordering drone attacks that go and kill mothers, innocent bystanders, children. Militants too, but the collateral damage. You’re responsible for that, too.â€

Lupe was referring to the recent drone attacks on alleged Al Qeda forces. However, drones are increasingly being used more to enforce the law domestically.

The rapper isn’t fazed by the president’s intentions. Instead, he believes the president is responsible for all life taken by his hand.

You make a valid point. I personally never criticized former President Bush because of my employment background and my father being a 31 year veteran of the Army who did 3 tours in Vietnam, a POW, and invaded Panama. I enjoy people utilizing their Freedom of Speech but I use mine to disagree.

Being the President of the United States is not an easy job. People die on your watch. What Lupe fails to understand is that many of our soldiers have died to protect HIS rights to state what he felt about President Obama.

But what are we protecting? Poppy Fields and prospective oil pipelines. And folks wonder why heroin is being sold in record amounts, at levels of unseen purity for cheap cost. Pat Tillman saw the this (under Bush) and was assassinated for it. If Obama was doing the right thing, we would have pulled right out. How do you blow people back to the stone age who are living in the stone age. Those people have fought half of the empires of the world in the last 2,500 years and are still getting down how they live.

You do realize that the comparisons you are making are not factual. Due to the fact of the following:

Germany and their allies targeted civilians locations to decrease the morale of the allied forces
The North Vietnamese and Viet Cong followed the thought process of the Germans in WWII
The Taliban and insurgence used locations that were surrounded by civilians who supported their beliefs

When people began to criticize the U.S. on how many civilians were killed....I ask these same people to visit any given grave site and take a look at the U.S. Veterans out there.

Yes, I would go even further to 9/11, but that is a whole nother can of worms. The neo-cons wrote what they were going to do almost a decade before they did it. I posted a link to the project for new American Century before. Did you read any of it? Obama just showed me he was part of the same lie. There were no hearing or trials on how the Bush Administration took sound intelligence that stated there was no weapons program and they lied about "other" evidence. Just cause I see one is a liar, does not mean I think the other is truthful. There have been plenty of back to back liars in the charge.
