If that was Eddie's last game, remember only 500 people came out so Kenn and his friend SOGgy were probably not there.

If Therriault played at Valley, he would probably have one win. Again, we have seen this guy on film and don't focus on the 1-11, focus on the 10-2. The last time we had a JUCO QB who won the JUCO title, we whooped GSU in Bham. Comegy knows he has to win. We need a SWAC and BCF championship. We can playand beat GSU twice this year.

The problem as I see it is the QB position kept you all from being a sub par team last year. I think the team weaknesses will be exposed this year in a big way. Right click and save this.

TP, a Jsu QB hasn't led you all to a BCF National title in 16 years. I just don't see that changing this year considering the obvious. I doubt you all will win your division.

I guess I will take the bait and try to have a civil sports convo with u but just to inform JSU has won with less talent at the quarteback position Trey Rutland was horrible and still led the team to a SCG...Also we had a running game that average over 100 yards a game so when the passing game didnt work the running game did..

Also Stump is your coach and he has done nothing to prove that he is better than his record...Coming off a 4-7 year and a dismal 2-9 year in 2010 u really downing another school program and u have 175 pound qb who cant throw...:smh:

Dude our Defense held every team down..The offense lost two games...INTS for all and turnovers...SMH

GR knows that bruh...but its still the same. The guy seems to have a problem with coaches everywhere he goes. If he had a problem with his highschool and other college coaches, there is no reason not to believe he wont have some friction here too. Lets see how he pans out for at least 2 weeks in summer drills.

Personally I want DMac to start. He is better than every SWAC QB. He should be named the starter and anyone coming in should have to take the position from him. DMac is the QB for me.

If Comegy knows what hes doing why does he only have one SCG win? How long has he been at JSU? Comegy is a average coach in the SWAC.:read:

What is the problem with you guys staying on topic? This thread is about JSU new QB. It is a thread in a public forum to comment on (not worry about). I did not start the thread but am posting in it. I do not see this new kid as a savior. He loss his job to an FCS transfer which indicates a vote of no confidence from his former program. It is commonly known that Jsu weakness and challenge will be at the QB position. I just see problems if you all put your program in this kids hands. Many QB(s) that go through a 1-10 season that are sub par to begin with become shell shocked. I do not see good things for you all this season.

I think he has the proclivity to divert back to a D-2 mentality and roll the dice with transfers that are saviors. I believe it is what he has done with this new QB. He has been lucky not in terms of winning championships put plugging in holes. Everyone knows if you keep on rolling the dice eventually you will get snake eyes. I not only believe this is a snake eye move but an indication of the turmoil the 2012 Jsu campaign will encounter.
 
How is Comegy average in the SWAC? Now had you said 1-AA, you may have not been garnering :rolleyes: You saying Comegy the 5th best coach in the SWAC when he leads EVERY coach in the SWAC has had to face except Broadway and Doug? He owns, Jones and Stump just like he owned Frazier and Pete.

Look at what Spears did to Bridges. Maybe this new coach is just clueless or just doesn't like the guy. :idea: He was successful everywhere else and he will be successful at JSU. Also, his coach at Akron started him in every game which lets you know that HE wasn't the problem. He was probably the only bright spot on the team. Regardless, SU is about to get thrashed!
 
If JSU has a half decent QB, our running game should take care of the rest in winning the East.
We know Bama State can't stop a running game and we know AAMU can't beat a halfway decent JSU team in Jackson. Alcorn and Valley.....well, are STILL Alcorn and Valley. Nuff said:emlaugh:

There's no excuse for JSU not to win the EAST...period!!
