Re: Doug was trying to be professional but.........

Inquiring and signing off on the dotted line are two different things. Good luck though.

Did you even need to say that? Actually one must inquire about the possibility of something before they agree to sign off on it. They would need to see the cost benefit right? Also, sponsor or not I will still support the Bayou Classic event regardless.

Re: Doug was trying to be professional but.........

It can't be average cause SU's record's not average. Stump was supposed to be "the man" when he was hired because he worked and played in the NFL. Well, guess that's not working out like some thought. In addition to that, the man has no business calling offensive plays. He needs to hire a real OC.

If Toyota signed up to sponsor the less attended SCG. What makes you think the BC on NBC will not get another sponsor. I know one that is in the running right now. Like Alpha3 said. There are sponsors lining up inquiring what they need to do.

What are you talking about? Folks ask me about several job offers, but THAT'S ALL it is. Until both parties sign on the dotted line, those inquiries are just that....inquiries and no agreement or deal. Did I have to spell that out?

JR, I know you're trying to back up your fellow SU boys, but inquiries don't mean anything. Heck, NASA can call about inquiries and make SU officials feel good for a few minutes, but UNTIL they sign that contract, the inquiries are just empty questions.

It's a process dude. Come on. :retard:

What the hell does NASA have to do with anything?

Man forget it! The sad part about this whole situation is that when another sponsor does SIGN ON THE DOTTED LINE you will find something wrong with it. Until then, please respond to those job offers.

No, I just tend to call it like I see it. When you get a credible sponsor to support the BC, I'd say make all the money you can, while you can.

There's already one.

Re: Doug was trying to be professional but.........

State Farm is the sponsor until 2013. All others will be inquiries until then. Once State Farm is no longer the sponsor, then another company can sign on as the sponsor. Is that too hard to comprehend?

If I do that, it might end up being a simple math problem and you know how confusing that could be for him.

Re: Doug was trying to be professional but.........

Thtas normal rates in NO. Folks have no problem payin for essence and other events. You have a entire year to prepare. No excuse. Again folks are in New Orleans. We have to get them in the game. We need to get rid of that management company that has no clue on how to un a black event.
right essence is actually much higher then the classic in they have 4 night min

Do you know what inquiry means? Its means to ask questions. A thousand corporations can inquire (ask questions) about sponsoring the BC, but if neither signs a contract what does it mean? Nothing. Now that's as simple as I can put it for those who need more time.

Since you like the word question, let me simplify this for you:

All others will be QUESTIONS until then.

And by the way, a contract is SIGNED with STATE FARM.

Name a few of the inquiring corporations if you can.
