Well, they obviously are not afraid of you over-running their campus anymore. But they are certainly concerned about JSU taking over!

THE END.

Let's not act like Southern U. hasn't been to confederate memorial in Jackson and not took it over. You all fear that every time the Football Jaguars come to town. :emlaugh:

Never said I was there. You don't see me making comments on that game like you are for the SU/Alcorn game that was 10 years later than you thought.

Those busters don't know the prowess of the Jaguar Nation. All they know is we come to Jackson ever so often and take over their stadium. Jsu is basically a one city trip school (Memphis). I want even attempt to name all of the stadiums in and out of the conference where the Jaguar Nation has contributed to attendance records.

OK...even still! You can't match November of 1992...and whatever record, you THINK you have, if they choose to count tickets this year, JSU will def break that record.
if you say so :) . I trust what the Alcorn folks say. People were park damn near to 61  .

The ONLY time SU even came close to taking over Memorial was 1997 and that was because ya'll got there first. JSU fans back then got to games around 45 minutes before kickoff and continued to filter in until the end of the 1st quarter. No need to rushing to a 60K seat stadium. I thought I was doing good gettin there an hour to hour an a half early. If a die hard like me was "late" imagine how the rest of the Tigers felt when they got there. But by the end of the night, it was a JSU stadium.. point blank. In 1999, ya'll didn't come close and you have not even come close since except maybe in 2003 during the Bellcott.

SU owns more stadium records in Louisiana than LSU :). Nicholls, ULL, Southeastern, and Northwestern State.

I think we are 2nd behind LSU @ Tulane. Texas played Tulane the same year as us. Think it was 20,000 more folks @ the SU game.

Dude, the truth is not in you. Also, I was at the 1999 games in Jackson and Birmingham. You know damn well S.U. took over Memorial in 1999. :emlaugh:

There's an 80-90 percent chance that there will be total gridlock at Alcorn come gameday between JSU and ASU. If anyone's going, they better get to campus by 10am or they can almost forget it.
Alcorn is just not equipped in any form or fashion to handle the numbers JSU is going to bring to that campus.

It's ironic that you j-staters are bragging about your fan base, when it's a known fact that SU has the largest traveling entourage among HBCU's and we don't have a problem accomodating them. 1700 acres and you complain about parking. So shut the hell up, bring your money and bring that AZZ!!!:smash:

Anybody who was @ that SU/Alcorn game knows how packed it was on the reservation that day. Were you there TP, if not STFU. Plus the record wasn't set in 93 :) .

I was in attendance for the Alcorn/jsu game in '92 and the '93 Alcorn/SU game when McNair broke the NCAA record. The '93 game had more people hands down.

Alcorn should close and die as a school COUNTRY AZZ they should turn into a high school...

Come on dude and get a life. We were just voted the #1 HBCU and you want us to close? We give you crackheads a day to get out of that asphalt jungle and come enjoy our beautiful campus and our hospitality and all you do is complain. Bring that AZZ !!!

#1 for what and whose list?

Question: Who has the record in Mumford?
JSU, have no problem saying it, but it was a couple of buses of JSU fans, the rest were SU folks. I remember the JSU folks standing around the track, because there wasnt any where for them to sit. JSU wasn't even a part of the stadium record in their own stadium. Alcorn and Valley own that.

A couple buses of JSU fans? I know we didn't bring 10-15k down there, but geez. Y'all have that luxury, whereas if you put JSU in a 25k seat stadium and SU probably wouldn't get over 2k fans in there - if that.

To be honest, we don't travel to these other SWAC schools like SU...only because Jacksonians don't view most of the others schools as enticing to travel. However, if there's a meaning to the game...we coming. Now we always take a damn good crowd to Memphis, Birmingham, or New Orleans (except for 2004). If Jacksonians made up in their minds that we wanted to travel to all of our away games in force, then there is no doubt that we would take over just as, if not worse, than you guys.
