She has a tough match tomorrow.

The men's and women's semfinals matches both look really good.

The Williams sisters were finally able to complete their second-round match against Maria Kirilenko and Nadia Petrova that started on Saturday but was suspended by rain. It picked up in the third set Wednesday, with the Williams sisters winning 3-6, 6-3, 9-7. They returned to the court a few hours later to beat fellow American Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Sania Mirza of India 6-4, 6-3 and move into the quarterfinals.

Serena advances to the finals! But boy, America is a flawed ass country. We fighting for freedom in all of these foreign fields but if we left America be the representation of any kind of democracy, hell, it would be a race war immediately. They are saying that she is not a woman so she should not be deemed the greatest tenis player etc.

They calling the girl all kinds of coons, he-mans, ******s and everything else on these sports blogs. But she is the only "American" left in Wimbeldon.

God please have sympathy in these times. It is tough out there.

On the up and up -- Go Serena, and bring that $hit on home!

Congratulations to Serena!

She lost focus in the second set after the rain delay. She stopped playing aggressive tennis, but she brought back her aggressiveness in the third.

Good point! I loved the way she bounced back in the third set to take it all. Give Agnieszka Radwanska some credit for being ready to play after the delay.
 
Congrats to Venus and Serena for winning the Ladies Doubles Championship!!!

And it would be fitting Venus would win it on an ACE!!!

Kudos to the Brits - Jonathan Marray became the first Briton to win the Wimbledon men's doubles title for 76 years after victory with wildcard partner Frederik Nielsen.
 
Kudos to Roger for his victory. I wanted Andy to win to end the suffering of the Brits.

This was the year of the old guard reclaiming the top. Youth will be served, but not this year.
