Do you really think that because they talk to you about the JSU - MSU game or about the Sonic Boom that they really care about either? Do you think they would really tell you how they feel about either? Do you think they really bring either up when they are talking sports among themselves?

They only talk about that with you because that's what you have in common with them. Not because they care about your school.

Go to any MSU message board and do a search on JSU or the Sonic Boom. See how often they bring it up or talk about either. The answer is between hardly ever and never.

These people are not in love with your school and band. They are just being nice to you and creating conversation. Nothing more.
And they definitely don't think JSU is very much different from Valley. Believe that. :

I could be a MSU graduate and fan. I could be the co-owner of a SEC message board and have talked to SEC fans, players, coaches and staff for many years. Or I could be a guy who just likes to mess with JSU fans when I get a chance.

I could be all of those things. I could be none of those things.

Coons will be coons I see. This U-Turn to this thread is a small example of why we are so ass backwards and behind. Nobody at State gives a damn about any of us or our bands, and the fact that some of u think so is alarming. The fact is is the SEC cares about FOOTBALL. and getting wins to qualify for bowls. They are looking to schedule 4 OOC winnable games because they play in the toughest conference in America. Now you can be delusional and think you are anything more than an easy win/sacrificial lamb to them but u are grossly overestimating yourselves.
