HBCUs attempted to justify their continu(ed/ual) existence by creating and fostering "open-enrollment." :smh: Lowered (academic) performance measurements are a direct result of a recruiting pattern that's illogical, IMHO. But, when you have a staff that's terrified of actual intelligent conversation w/ a predominantly-white school district (and it's officials - too numerous around the rancid urban areas of texas), these types of APR hits are to be expected, Prairie View. :|
It's perplexing to think that Stanford, Cal, Brown Univ, Oh St, Oregon U, LSU, McNeese, Univ of Nebraska, OU, OkSt, Sam Houston St, aTm, univ-of-tx, rice, ... and numerous others can and do live in the home county and this county I live in northward yet Prairie View, a local texas university :emlaugh:, doesn't deem it necessary to even ATTEMPT to go after these SAME top-tier student-athletes because of the defeatist attitude it has. :smh: Plano ISD won't kill ya' PV! Scared to talk to white folx and go after SUPER-talented white/black/brown/yellow/green kids in the academically best school districts? How can the others go after these kids and not you while you settle for the dumbed-down urban districts in these mentally inferior areas? :smh: Defies ALL logical and common sense, IMHO. Sorry ass hisd, disd, fwisd, saisd kids. Only 2-3 can actually perform @ the next level and you go after what's "left." :smh:
Sorry for blasting Prairie View in your thread sTu. A 960 is a great score and shows that sTu is doing something correct in the recruiting department.
