TSU Football Recs' Most Improved APR Award

This is for the single year? The multi-year is still below?

Boy talk about a ninja crab in a bucket...Dose this thread in any shape form or fashion states anything about this being anything other than about the single year increase I mean R-E-A-L-L-Y Black...You JSU Peep are something  & :retard:

We're JACKSON STATE. We are the SWAC.

You really believe that huh? If JSU left, the SWAC would move on, hell if any of us left it would. Yall are the SWAC but have won only one SCG since it's existence but yall are the SWAC? Denial like a mf. The Mississippi folks have really warped your brain, definitely can't be from Louisiana from your thinking span. Sorry TXSU peeps had to say something. Again Congrats. Back To Topic.

TSU Football Program Receives Most Improved APR Award from FCS ADA
6/27/2012 1:12:00 PM

DALLAS - The Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) has announced that the Texas Southern football program has been named the 2010-11 recipient of the Academic Progress Rate (APR) Most Improved Award for the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

The APR Most Improved Award recognizes one institution at each of the 14 FCS conferences that has the highest APR score improvement from the previous year. In addition, the Association also recognizes one institution from each conference that has the highest overall APR score. In all, 29 awards were given this year, due to a tie in the Ivy League for the highest APR score in 2010-11.

"Our Association is pleased to present these awards to spotlight the true mission of all FCS programs, embracing the academic progress of their student-athletes, who will become leaders in their everyday lives outside of the field," said FCS ADA President Marilyn McNeil, vice-president/director of athletics at Monmouth . "We are happy to continue to recognize the FCS institutions and their football programs for continuing to reach or maintain exemplary APR scores."

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) member colleges and universities adopted a comprehensive academic reform package designed to improve the academic success and graduation of all student-athletes. The centerpiece of the package is the academic measurement for teams, known as the APR.

“The 120 point improvement in the Football yearly APR is a significant step in the program meeting the academic objectives,â€￾ said TSU Director of Athletics Dr. Charles McClelland. “We are confident that next year’s APR number will complete the process of solidifying the academic success of the TSU Football Student Athletes and it will also remove the program from any APR penalties handed down from the NCAA.â€￾

The NCAA should do an investigation into these numbers. Even though TxSU is not a serious academic institution its still very difficult to have a 100 point score improvement. Even if everyone is majoring in PE this is virtually impossible. These books are being cooked anybody can see this. But since it takes the NCAA 5 years to do anything this is all moot. They really should investigate this now. It won't take them long at all to review this cookbook.

Hey Get...last I looked you all have hired all the Cooks at Jackson State...Priscilla Slade, Carolyn Myers, and Vivian Fuller!

And I hope they keep putting their fingers in that witches brew at MightyJSU. We do it the right way. Education comes first...we don't cheat. The JSU name means something ...you can't buy your degree at JSU and you can't cook the APR books

We appreciate your support.

Damn it...

I was hoping yall would continue to fail on your APR scores and get kicked out of the NCAA.
This some bull

Tremendous improvement which shows great progress, which is always good. Keep those grades up TXSU and congratulations!

I once took offense your your delirious comments. Now I just feel sorry for you. I have come to realize it's not your fault. With the amount of time you have spend on Lynch street, how could you have escaped getting willied?

Naw bruh...I just hate you hypocrites. The school with the worst APR in the country had the nerve to vote against another schools APR score. What kinda shit is that. The NCAA needs to investigate

The best place for y'all is d2 or NAIA

None of your folks will back you up on that
90% of the people at TxSU dont give a damn about school business.
All you guys go to school for is to find out what club will be jamming this weekend.

There is a reason TxSU is known as the worst school in the country

You don't believe that fudgery youself:crazy: Most of the time people hate when you have something they want.
First you wanted our AD but, well....:smoke:
