You know. Doug told some peeps midway through the season he was going to have to get some transfers to win next year so he could appease some fans but he then turned around and won the SWAC. He probably changed his mind.

He aint changed his mind! :shame: You can best believe Doug will stick to his words and get some transfers! If there's two things that nucka loves, it's poohsay and transfers!

Grambling's basketball team is STILL on the list?.... I thought the trade off for having dumb thugs is that they AT LEAST WIN.... but they are garbage...

Can Grambling be kicked out of the NCAA if they don't get the basketball team in compliance? I would hate for those thugs to get the whole school kicked out of the NCAA

He got some transfers. Getting transfers doesn't really affect the APR, but if people are transferring like their is no 2morrow will hurt it but that isn't a problem in football.

Like JSU almost got kicked out 2 years ago huh? JSU and NCAA go hand and hand. If memory severs me correct JSU has been in the news for 3 previous years concerning the NCAA problems and APR but you are to dumb to remember, hell you just try to not remember it.:read:

When did Jackson become an all girls school?

Since they opened. They act like bitter azz women that gave their husbands a disease on purpose because he cheated when all of them cheated on each other. Good ole Jackie Sue:emlaugh:

Hey USA
I shole is TOO dumb

But seriously...if gram gets kicked out if the NCAA along with these other dummies the SWAC can cease to exist in its current form. Like I've been saying gram pinebluff TxSU and PV should move to D2 where you can compete easier and educate young minds. Remember its all about educating the kids

That mean JSU to dumbazz. lol. Hell JSU started all this APR and NCAA trouble in the SWAC. So you(JSU) is the Dumb Almighty lmao

Come on man.

You just trying to say mean stuff
we all know that Grambling is not an educational institution. Academics is not your forte. You have no clue on how to solve your APR issues. But if I could get am APR expert to tell me if these terrible infractions could get Grambling kicked out of the NCAA I would appreciate it.

Only serious inquiries pls

Hell its ironic that our football APR is higher than Jacksons and you're worried about Doug but JSU is all about academics. Been in the news 3 Years str8 concerning NCAA almost kicking u to the curve and APR but u worry and I mean worry about Gram LOL. Like I said JSU is the main school in the SWAC that attracted the APR drama to the SWAC but yall whiney, crying, sucking nipples til infinity bitter azzes try to fix your mouths while your football multi year score is in the 800's meaning you are definitely not out the woods fully. Could easyily fall backwards.

Grambling's football APR has been higher than Jackson's for the past three years. I coulda swore somebody said... Awwww, never mind.

Transfer requests are scrutinized more by coaches now because of the possible effect they can have on a program's Academic Progress Rate, Haney said. A program is dinged a "retention point" under APR rules if the departing player does not have a grade-point average of at least 2.6. Low overall APR scores can jeopardize a program's postseason eligibility.

But Tiger Punani say transfers don't lower APR? You know nothing fella you just speak with ignorance and no knowledge just like your fellow Pississippi mud puppies.:read:

You can't believe everything you read.

I know more about APR than you.

Also, what is the differnece in a transfer doing those things and high school recruit doing those thing. NUFFIN!

From the NCAA:

Q: Why does the APR make a school lose points for a transfer if the student-athlete’s GPA is below a 2.6?

A: Data show that transferring has a negative impact on a student-athlete’s academic success and eventual graduation. But, according to NCAA research, student-athletes who transfer with at least a 2.6 grade-point average have the same likelihood of academic success as a student-athlete who remains at his or her original institution.

This affects the school that student transferred from. Not the school that a student transferred to. If student from JSU transfers to Tuskegee and he has a 2.5, it will cost JSU a point. But if JSU accepts a student with a 2.5, that is no different than having a kid already in the program with a 2.5.

Another Look at the APR Scores

We seriously need to look at again at the APR and let these discussions continue!

Shall we commence?
