Our schools suffer, in get knocked for Grades, yet the Kentucky's of the World (which the APR was created for) never show up.. them cats aint even getting kds to their sophmore year.. Something needs to be said about that..

**** that...they voted against us. I need all of those dummies to get banned.
Now watch what happens at the next meeting. I assure you they will repeal the SCG ban.

This is the same NCAA sanction JSU faced last year right?

Only TxSU is going to be banned from the SCG. Well if they treat them like they treated SU and JSU they will be banned,

It don't count when the kids turn pro as long as they were in good standing when they left. Which aint hard to do when you stay only one year. LOL.

I'm glad AlaState and PV and Grambling and TxSo got penalties. UAPB and Valley don't really matter one way or the other.
Kudos to the NCAA! I need PV and Grambling to get what they deserve since their football APR has always been worse than JSUs. Alabama State will be in trouble simply because they are ASU and the white folks have not taken over yet.

You do know Grambling Football APR is str8, expected problems in basketball but the ban has been lifted and the scores will rise.:read:

They have no choice but to ban them. The SWAC Council of Presidents don't meet again until December.

But again, that crop of coaches wont win 5 games anyway. Unless JSU is tied to their names, those coaches are not good. You need talent to win and JSU bring you the talent, not TxSo.

Thats what im saying, this rule was made for them, in then the NCAA gave them a quick loop hole.. It should be some kind of penality if you havent have consective classes that dont make it to their sophmore year

We will be OK. This will make us (and UAPB) take the APR more seriously as the other SWAC schools have learned with their previous bans.

It's not surprising that the usual JSU a** clowns take joy in this news when they were crying from the mountain tops about how unfair the APR ban was to them when they were forced to sit at home last year...

Anytime u lose practice time and scholarships things will get bad but hopefully this will increase SU APR...I hope Mason and the AD have a plan of action..

Well with track you can actually practice on your own. You can't win at track without doing a lot of individual work anyway.

That would be dumb.... why penalize a school for an NCAA rule making it ok to declare after your first year. If that were the case you may as well make it against the rules to leave after your first year.... or either make it legal to go to the NBA out of high school again.

Nah... it is fair and not an advantage. Those guys remain eligible long enough to avoid hurting their schools' APR. As long as they finish the academic year in good standing for both semesters, they get the points. Same with us.

In all seriousness, I know I have cracked jokes or said something about JSU & SU when they had APR problems. Real talk, its no fun playing teams and it has no meaning and futhermore I really hate seeing any of our schools going through issues of this sort cause these kids cant take themselves to class. These kids have to take some pride in their education and playing whatever sport they're playing. I really hope all of our schools that are in APR trouble right now come up on top and stay there and we all stay away from this APR situation. Instead of helping ourselves, we hurting ourselves by simple not going to class.

Well, we believe APR is very fair now. You all got thru to us. Now you all have a bunch of dummies on your teams and you need to suffer the punishment. JSU fully support this decision by the great NCAA and we know that the SWAC will uphold it's standards and allow for the SCG ban to hold for TxSo. This is a great day. A day when justice prevails. I'm just not satisified. Hopefully, you all will continue to get worse.

yeah, they need to recruit kids that go to class. This is easy. All you have to do is ask them "will you go to class". If they say yes, sign them. If they say no, sign their brother.

Damn it
I want all of them to face banning from the SCG and being kicked out of the NCAA. Those cowards voted against their own best interest for a weak ass SCG game and I want it to come back to hurt them soooo bad.

TP you do know JSU wouldnt gone to the SWAC Championship game with or without the APR ban right???

The constant whining with JSU men is so played out and gay. Sheesh.Tiger Punani you whine entirely to much along with your comrades.:emlaugh:

I was wondering how BamaState had all those ineligible players and turnover and still werent facing APR issues. Now they finally are facing APR sanctions and it makes me so happy. If I could get Valley and Alcorn kicked out of the NCAA, that would make me;

Not true....we had a team that was 9-2 with nothing to play for. How much better would we have been if we actually had some motivation to win.

I dont know why you keep throwing your worry team into this conversation. Your school was the 3rd best team in the East. If my team got embarrassed like JSU humilated A&M at home, I would really be quiet.
