This matchup is good for the NBA. Their younger stars playing for the NBA title. This will be better ratings than last year for sure. David Stern has to be happy with these teams in the Finals.

The only thing he can be sad about is that neither of these franchises are in major media markets like NY, LA, Boston or Chicago. But you can't have it all. LOL.

Should be a good one. Hopefully we see a James/Durant shoot out which will be very enjoyable with high ratings.

Lebron will have to score 45-50 every game thats the only way Miami wins. Take over the game and be the leader Lebron, its no other way around it. You cant stop OKC from scoring, the only defense to OKC is more offense...

45 to 50 a game? Come on, bro. In the two games the Spurs won in the WCF, did either Duncan, Manu or Parker have to score 50 points?
 
Spurs and Heat two different teams. Lebron doesnt have the luxury to sit back on his ass and rely on his team mates as much as SA did. Heat are very inconsistent on O and their defense will not be enough to stop OKC. Spurs played a hell of series against OKC, but OKC just kept scoring and SA stopped scoring bottom line. Lebron will have to carry his team n order for them to win. Lebron and Wade will have to penetrate then dish out to create wide open looks for Battier, Miller, Chalmers and Jones. You cant settle for jumpshots against OKC, you will get burned. Watch and see...

OKC can't settle for jumper either or it will trigger the Heat's fastbreak game. Miami has a better defense than the Spurs do. But I don't think OKC has a better defense than Boston does. It will be much easier for the Heat in the half-court.

Here is another thing to digest. In four games against the Heat with LeBron, James and Wade on the roster, Russell Westbrook has shot 31 percent from the field.

The Heat's ability to play physical with the Thunder and muck up the game will be an advantage the Heat have.

And if the Heat put LeBron and Wade or Bosh and LeBron in the pick-and-roll like in the Boston series, I don't know if OKC has an answer for that.
 



You have some points but I like OKC's fastbeak game than MIA. MIA will miss more jump shots than OKC...

Don't know about that. Ibaka, Perkins, Collison and even Nazr Mohammed is enough to bang those guys for the Heat. Actually I think this will be better for the Thunder than dealing with all that pick and roll or pop that the Spurs did. The Spurs are a better coached and better passing team than the Heat. The Heat must win one game in OKC. If they don't, I think they lose this series possibly in 5. I got the Thunder in 6. I would like to see 7 games but I don't think we will get that. OKC with Harden and Westbrook on the floor with Ibaka and Durant will cause more problems for the Heat. Spoelstra better be careful on trying to run Lebron out to guard Durant.He better leave that to Battier. Also keep an eye out for Dejuan Cook a former Heat player to have a good game from the 3 line in one of these games. He had one on the road against the Spurs. Cook, Mohammed, Collison, Harden and Fisher will make a big difference off the bench I believe. The best chance the Heat have is the Big 3 has to play well every game and at least one of the others will have to score at least 10-12 points. The Thunder have various folks who can definitely do that. Thabo Sefalosa will have his hands full guarding Lebron or Wade. I think Lebron will get his. But for some reason I think Wade is going to struggle. Just my prediction.
 
The key will be Chris Bosh. If he gets back to form then the Heat will probably win this. The Heat plays good defense and I think Lebron has finally realized that he has to be the man in the 4th quarter.

I agree Frat. Plus I think while the Heat are more athletic than the Spurs. The Spurs make you think all game long. Their crisp passing is like a damn clinic. OKC will have an easier time of defending the Heat as a team. Might have a few individual matchups like Lebron and Bosh that may get iffy. But overall, I think the Heat will not execute their offense as smooth as San Antonio did. Harden is going to be a beast in this series.

Parker went off in one of those games. I don't think Lebron has to score 40. But their Big 3 can't allow the Thunder Big 3 to consistently get off. Bosh needs someone to get him the ball. Where as the Westbrook, Durant and Harden all can create with the ball.

LeBron is going to guard Durant. Maybe not a lot, but he's going to guard him. He always guards the other team's best offensive players.

But let's not make it seem OKC is some unbeatable team here, and that their key guys can't struggle on either end of the floor in this series. OKC is a great team, but let's see how they react being on this stage as the favorite.

Just thought about it, this is a rematch of the Texas high school championship of Bosh Lincoln HS vs Perkins Beaumont Ozen HS, they thought Perkins would kill Bosh and his Lincoln Tigers because Perkins was so much bigger than Bosh, but Bosh got the best of ole Perkins, anyone else see that championship?

Lebron gonna have to snap out like he did in game 6 of the ECF in order to beat this OKC team. 30-7-7 is not enough and Lebron cant rely on the team, hit em hard early and get his team involved as the game goes on. Cant put pressure on his team mates too early in the game, thats LBJs time. He has to take over like he is capable of doing until then all he will ever be is a good scorer....

Well, when LeBron was playing the role of facilitator in the first half, Miami had a sizable lead. In the second half, those jump shots were just not falling for the Heat.
 
If that was working then then I dont know why they stopped. I told you settling for jumpers was gonna kill MIA because OKC is not gonna stop scoring. MIA has to slow this game down because them jumpers not gonna keep falling like they did in the 1st half.
