Finals is not the reason why the game was cancelled. Loyola finished their season over a week ago. After they knew they would not make the playoffs, they packed it up and took it home.


Loyola Baseball Honors Seniors but Drops Season Finale to Southern Poly

WESTWEGO, La. – The Loyola University New Orleans baseball team dropped the Senior Day season finale to Southern Poly 13-1 at Segnette Field.

Wolfpack head coach Gerald Cassard started seniors Slade Sanders, Chad Guidry, Brien Delahoussaye, and Lucas Wendt in honor of the final game of the 2012 season.

The Hornets record moves to 33-21 overall and 17-13 in SSAC play. The Wolfpack conclude their season with a 18-33 overall record and 3-27 in conference competition.
