I think Coach Mitchell may go out with a bang also. I've always noticed how the Jags were capable of putting at least 20 points on the scoreboard (no small feat) and in all conference games and the FAMU game, I believe the Jags led in overall passing yards. But I also noticed something that reminded me of my Golden Lions; one problem we've always had was that we came out scoring too late in the game. I noticed this with the Jags; remembering those sports posts during last football season, TOP was weakest for the Jags in the 1stQ but was strongest during the 2nd & 3rdQ of their games. Gotta come out of the tunnel scoring.
And those losses the Jags suffered, as you pointed out, were very close. So, if the Jags can keep up with their passing, and be steady on overall offensive yards and have longer drives, they may just take the SWAC this fall.
