BCS Championship Game: Bama vs LSU

They would have only needed one two-point conversion.

The score was 15 - 0. After a pick 6, the score would have been 15 - 7 if they make the extra point. At that point, it's anybody's ballgame.

Being down only 8 could have changed the mood on LSU's team and definitely would have changed the momentum. Who knows what would have happened?

Keep coming up with reasons to make yourself feel better as to why the game was still in doubt even though 'Bama dominated for much of the night.

I just watched the game as a football fan. I didn't care who won or lost.

I'm just saying the game wasn't over until the touchdown by Richardson.

LSU fans held onto hope that they could come back even whit there lack of offensive effort throught three Quarters....Yes the could have but nothing the did showed they would. Florida with the worst offense in the SEC was throwing deep bombs on Bama until Brantley got hurt...Deep bombs...Yet LSU game out running... You guys were the only ones compelled..Bama fans witht he impeding win and LSU fans hoping somebody from Bama made a mistake to luck you back in that game...It never happede...LOL

Hell Kent State and Georgia Southern were throwing bombs. Both of them, including North Texas, were able to gain more yards than LSU. LSU OC should be fired.

I actually love this kind...up front and you know where they stand....it's those who play the we love everybody and this is the state school, "the Flagship", everybody is welcome....when that really ain't the case....that I have a problem with....

There's an old saying that goes . . . "up north, white people don't care how high a black man gets, as long as he doesn't get too close, while down south white people don't care how close a black man gets, as long as he doesn't get too high . . "

I think there is still a little truth to that. Example being that up north, whites don't care if the mayor is black, they just don't want a black neighbor, while down south whites don't care if their neighbor is black, they just don't want a black mayor . . .

yeah, basic knowledge and common sense tell me that in 2012, if you choose to attend any school you choose to attend, then more power to you. If you choose to pull for any school you choose to pull for, then more power to you.

btw, do "we" make ALL our decisions (where we choose to live, where we work, etc.) based on the events from 50 years ago or does that just apply to what school we may or may not pull for in a sports event?......

:scared:

who are yall to tell ANYBDOY who they can/can't, should/shouldn't should pull for?

:smh:

Ain't nobody told ya'll crap except the truth. Cheer all you want. Go buy a elephant head, a box of tide, and a roll of tolit paper and make a costume out of it for all I care.

Just watch.
All ya'll that are acting like ya'll attended Bamma and LSU, screaming ROLL TIDE will be cursing their names in about 4 months when highschool recruits start flocking to them. Not to mention all the WHITE MAN HORROR stories that will be posted about these schools under the title of "Grass must be greener."

So who you are, where you come from, your past experiences, and your history no matter who it pertains to doesn't matter....that has no barring as to the choices you make in life? The history and ideals and what the organization or institution may stand for doesn't have any barring on anything either? Wow....just blindly follow....right? Stand for nothing...Fall for whatever...Wow....that's why we are where we are....no substance and no barrings to what we choose to follow and support...no reasoning other than that is what looks good at the time....no regard to anything only that it is the popular or the trendy thing to do. Lead by media and hype rather than research and knowledge.....i guess that is what is building our HBCUs to the glory we enjoy so much today:no:....I guess that is what is making our communities so wonderful today:no:.....This is what has improved them so much from what they once were:no:....Yea makes sense to me....:shame::shame::shame:

years ago, I couldn't work where I work now, I couldn't live where I live now, but am I wrong to work here now, am I wrong to live here now? If I couldn't go to school at school x years ago, am I wrong to go to school x now? I couldn't go to the grocery store then, couldn't drink from certain fountains then, had to ride the back of the bus then (that list of things I couldn't do could go on forever) , so because of that history, does that make it wrong for me to go to the grocery store now, to now drink from any fountain, ride in the front? etc. Or maybe thats what you want. Maybe you want segregation. Black folks shouldn't go to Bama or LSU. Maybe you think black people shouldn't be allowed to work here. Black people shouldn't be allowed to live there. Or Black people shouldn't go to school there. Since you brought up George Wallace, just maybe you believe in what he said, "segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever"

btw, at some point, pro football (as was just about anything you can think of) was largely segregated. Am I wrong to pull for a pro team now?

I know me and MH don't see eye to eye a lot, but if he and other TSPN members want to support Bama or any other non-HBCU, I think it's well within their right to do so. I never liked the idea of folks telling me who or what to support. If backing X school is your thing, go for it.

Touch that thang folk!
