One issue I don't remember being broached in this thread is the influence of boosters when it comes to hiring a Black head football coach. I think boosters have a lot to do with there being so few Black head football coaches on the D-I level.

Include Governors, College Presidents and business men as boosters also. In the social world many boosters and other do not feel comfortable in social setting with a black coach.
