Child please TXSouthern is a bottom feeder....you are the school teams schedule for homecoming ask Valley...who respects a school who got beat up on National tv within 3 weeks...ESPN announcer laughed at you guys becuz you guys couldn't even snap to the kicker...jus shut up hire a good coach and try again next year! And you respected that ass whooping you guys received in Memorial...remember 58 points..

We did kick that ass on national TV
That spoiled their year. They didnt believe they werent shit until after they got embarrassed on national TV. After that it made it much easier to accept ass whoopings by Valley and A&M.

Maybe they should hire two new head coaches. If I were them, I would hire somebody white. Anybody white. I bet if you hire a white guy you will be able to execute a damn punt. Then just put the black guy out front just for show.

You really should fire CharlesMcClelland and rehire JohnnyColes.

When you get the same azz whoopin next year, we will see what you think of Comegy. I with Cole could have stayed. You all won't win without cheating so you will need to find another cheater to compete with the Mighty JSU Tigers.
 
5 coaching candidates who should be on TSU's radar

Texas Southern athletic director Charles McClelland made arguably the biggest call of his three-year tenure when he sacked football coach Johnnie Cole in April and elevated defensive coordinator Kevin Ramsey to interim coach.

His second-biggest call will be naming Cole's permanent replacement.

The university announced last Monday that it had launched a national search for a football coach after the team finished the season 4-7, and Ramsey remains a candidate.

The football program remains under a cloud of uncertainty because of an ongoing NCAA investigation into alleged violations committed during Cole's three-year stint as coach. Whoever takes over the program will have to brace for whatever punishment, if any, the NCAA decides to dish out.

TSU has a chance to hit the reset button and breathe some new life into a program that is not in need of serious repair. The Tigers went 9-3 and won the Southwestern Athletic Conference in 2010 and could easily return to respectability next season with the right man at the helm.

McClelland should have no shortage of qualified candidates to choose from. Here are five who should receive very strong consideration:

Charles Coe, TSU offensive coordinator
Clarence McKinney, UH running backs coach
Daryll Asberry, Shaw head coach
Earnest Wilson, Jackson State offensive coordinator
Willie Slater, Tuskegee head coach

they're paying him over $100K at UH after making half of that at Yates with unrealistic expectations as those same Yates alum who complain live in the suburbs...you would bolt also

Turner Gill is available also and Mike Haywood (Houston native)...Gill was turned down by GSU in 2005
 
I sorry but I am not really interested in all you other SWAC fans help with who we should hire...as if any of you can be objective in getting us a good coach that will help us beat your teams...Really...Thanks for the suggestions but "We Got This"...K!;)
