Their spirituality is stronger in those countries. If you live in an environment where bombs are going off at any given time. You take your faith EVERYWHERE. They believe is something over there that goes much deeper than us. We sit up and possibly would go fist to blows over a football game or if someone steps on our shoes....or if a dude called us a byach arse ninja....

But in those countries it's survival....damn I don't feel good right now about the United States...

It goes back to what an 90 year old man told me in prison. "Just because we have a Black president does not equate fairness....this will bring out those to the forefront who want to send us back to the 50's."

So in America, you are innocent until proven guilty...unless you are a minority. Otherwise, you are guilty until proven innocent beyond all reasonable doubt. This is my first time hearing about this case (in recent memory). So basically, a man whose guilt was proven to be questionable was executed today? Words just don't express my outrage.

Meanwhile, here in Texas, Lawrence Russel (a white supremacist), the man in Jasper Tx who tied James Byrd Jr. (a black man) to the back of his pickup and dragged his body down the street for miles and miles in 1998 was executed tonight as well. This here was definitely a case of just desserts.

I respect them for that Founder. They really have beliefs that are strong. Even though I may not agree with all of them.

Don't be ashamed....I was a guest lecturer in a class and the students wondered the same thing.

I was watching the Rachel Maddow Show last night (I LOVE HER SHOW); she reported how the drug used to inject Troy Davis is the same used to kill laboratory animals.

And last night on CNN, the former warden of the same prison where T.Davis was executed even said that this was an extreme hasty execution and that more and better investigation should have taken place. Ben Jealous, head of the NAACP, also was interviewed and he said that person who actually killed Officer McPhail had admitted to several people about the killing and threatened a woman repeatedly that he'd kill her if she went forward to the police. He terrorized this woman so bad, she moved her family out of the state of Georgia.
 
I would like to thing that the courts have our best interest at heart but when you have decision like this with so many inconclusive evidences then the question become how do we put our trust or how do we survive with a incompetent judicial system such as the one we are witnessing here :noidea:?
 
I know guys in prison who appealed their case on his case and these guys were released. This is the reason I was upset.
