So let me get this straight. Boom plays an N.O song and does the dance that goes with it...Jukes did it 13 years ago and its "copying"? How can u play songs like "Get It Ready" and not do the dances that goes with them? Or even play "Bunny Hop" and don't actually hop. See how that sounds? It sounds stupid. Even the actual dances differed in many places (ie. SU kicked over some1 and the Boom did not). I swear this is reaching by far and I can say I'm not even shocked.
So tell me this, did yall ever do the Cha-Cha slide back in the mid 90s? The Boom needs to know so they won't actually do the slide while playing it...

If you're gonna say "Walk it like a dog" from "Get It Ready", wouldn't you try to say it exactly how it is on the song and do it like the song? The way you guys making it seem, the Boom copied every single move from yall dance and not the video.
I could see if this was between 99-03 but this is 2011. The people who thought of putting it in the show wasn't more than 7 years old :lol: . Yall are really trying too hard.

So a group of students from all over the country remembered a 1998 dance routine from SU when they were 6-8 years old and decided to bring it over to the Boom. Does that even make sense to you guys? Seriously, all that happened was yall got to have a trip down memory lane and it was deemed "copying".

So a video with 3,887 hits since 2008 means EVERYBODY in the band world(including the Boom) knew SU did that in 1998. Could it likely that out of those 3,887 people who watched that clip, someone from a 200 piece band watched that? That is one very slim probability. Yet, you are steadily tryna find a way to say the Boom copied and all they did that night was just play a N.O song and did the dance that was suppose to go with it.
But by that logic, could I go ahead and say that since SOP played Something In My Heart and with its astounding 20,652 hits since 2008 on YouTube...I know one of your Jukes watched it and passed the idea for yall to play it? (Good arrangement I might add)

I think everyone who's witnessed both shows knows without a shadow of a doubt what happened. The evidence is there. I don't even see how he can come in here to defend it. IMO it is that serious...jsu has made a living off of doing this to bands. Because they are the more popular (best believe they are aware of this) the swagger jacked thought would be perceived to be 'their original' concept. When one would argue, they'd simply reply with...'I mean we are J-state, why would we need to do such a thing.' I'd ponder on the question too if I didn't know better. As arrogant as they are, they are quite insecure as well. This turns into the 'by any means necessary' approach...thus 'show stealing.'
They probably have had a meeting in the Den about it already...he really needs to discuss this there. lmbo

I said the EXACT same thing everyone else said about the marches. We are glad MURRAY is gone. Basically,your kids have a jump on us and didn't do much better. Liddell and marches can't be topped. This is SUs first time trying to post marches vs JSU.. ...I wonder why. Stick to rap. Leave musicality to JSU.

Yeah and the marching is really getting worse. Overall the bands were OK (not a saying a too much BUT they were not disastrous) and I think the directors were trying to go in different direction on songs and new material for the halftime show--I think it was a failure on some of it! Also JSU's arrangements are getting weaker and it is not following the traditional norms. To tell you the truth during the 90's JSU was more of a finess type of band with a high quality sound now it is more of a watered down power band, :smh:, and leading them to an above mediocre band!
