Baton Rouge police are investigating a bar fight early Friday that reportedly involved several LSU football players, including senior quarterback Jordan Jefferson, Sgt. Don Stone said.

Four people were hospitalized with minor injuries, Stone said.

Police are investigating the fight, but no arrests have been made, Stone said.

The incident occurred at 1:30 a.m. at Shadys 623 E. Boyd Drive, south of the campus, Stone said.

Thursday was the last day of fall camp for LSU and the players had Friday off.

“We are aware of the incident that took place at an off-campus location at which some of our players were present,â€￾ said LSU Football Coach Les Miles.

They tried to cover it up, but to many folks saw it lol. Apparently some LSU football players dragged 2 guys out of a truck and beat the shat out of them. A marine tried to help the victims and they beat the shat out of him to.

LSU football players implicated in bar fight

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge Police say LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson "and several other LSU football players" were implicated by witnesses as being involving in a fight in the parking lot of a bar near campus, a police spokesman said.

Several people who claim to have witnessed the incident tell 9NEWS that around 2 a.m., a young man driving a truck blew his horn to get a group of people blocking the driveway to move at Shady's on E. Boyd Ave. That's when they say a group of people pulled the driver out of the truck and began beating him. When a friend of the driver, a Marine who had just returned from training, ran to assist the driver, he was also beaten and thrown to the ground. Ten people who claim to have witnessed the incident say LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson then kicked the Marine in the head.

Baton Rouge Police would not say if they have heard similar accounts. They say investigators are still interviewing witnesses and have not yet filed any written notes.

9 Sports has learned the driver is claiming to have severe injuries, including several fractures. The other three victims only have bumps and bruises. All four have hired an attorney, but have not decided whether to press charges.

As of early Friday evening, no arrests had been made in the case.

Re: BRPD: LSU football players may be involved in bar fight

Yeah, Jacques Doucet said his witnesses are hardcore LSU fans, but felt that it was too bad of an incident to sweep under the wrong.

They sure did, but having all those witnesses out there plus a marine trying to come to the aid of the victims being one of the beaten, they couldn't sweep it under the rug. Bet LSU isn't laughing at Oregon now.

Re: BRPD: LSU football players may be involved in bar fight

Maybe, hell they either did it or didn't do it.

Re: BRPD: LSU football players may be involved in bar fight

Always attempting to cover something up.

They did it. To many people saw it. Funny how all the security cameras didnt catch the incident lol. Someone is going to pay the kids off and they wont press charges. All of the other students have lawyers.

Re: BRPD: LSU football players may be involved in bar fight

Oh i'm sure they did, if someone from GSU or SU would have been in that mess it would be all on the news, papers, all over the internet, etc. That's why i don't support PWC's, so much scandal and problems but everything is covered up but when it happens at HBCU's it's showcased but to many Uncle Ruckus type peeps in the black race fall into the white is right trap and will jump on their band wagons and throw their own under a bus. I can't see how someone can support the Ohio's, LSU's and Florida St's etc. Like MJ said, "They don't care about us", but some really think they do.:read:

They did it, it was a whole crowd of folks witnessing it. Even if the security cameras didn't catch(if you want to believe that), we know good and well that many people were recording with their cell phones. If these were Southern players, they would already be in jail, and would have tons of footage of the fight.

Re: BRPD: LSU football players may be involved in bar fight

Chill out guys and let the BRPD do the investigation:

I was at Shady's last night and did not see any inappropriate action or mob rule in the parking lot.

Unity Council and Les will take care of this matter internally, and the BRPD will take care of this externally. New Police Chief for BRPD must be sweating more than Les is now.

For the time being Les, just check the hands and knuckles of the team and you will see who the participants were in the incident.

Let's hear it from all the haters out there.

:lmao:

Re: BRPD: LSU football players may be involved in bar fight

They will pay for that video to dissapear, hell they pay for everything else.:read:

Re: BRPD: LSU football players may be involved in bar fight

Jarvis Landry is the brother of former SU star WR Gerrod "G money" Landry.

Re: BRPD: LSU football players may be involved in bar fight

Karma is biting LSU.

You aint lying. For the last couple of weeks, the BR media have been on Oregon and Chip Kelly for not suspending their players for the incident they were involved in. Karma is a itch.

Re: BRPD: LSU football players may be involved in bar fight

Well looks like something is going to happen, all eyes are on BRPD and LSU.

Re: BRPD: LSU football players may be involved in bar fight

There will be riots all around BR if that happens. LOL

Re: BRPD: LSU football players may be involved in bar fight

Youthful indiscretion....boys being boys....all the cliches to lesson the seriousness.

BRPD meeting with LSU players postponed
The Advocate staff report

Updated: 3:58 p.m.

The meeting between Baton Rouge Police Department investigators and four LSU football players has been postponed until Tuesday morning, said police spokesman Sgt. Donald Stone.

Baton Rouge attorney Nathan Fisher, representing players Jordan Jefferson, Jarvis Landry, Chris Davenport and Josh Johns, has requested 24 hours to review the details of the case before his clients meet with investigators, Stone said.

Police asked the four players to come in for interviews after witnesses reported the men were involved in a fight outside of Shady’s bar about 1:30 a.m. Friday. Four men, none of whom are members of the LSU football team, were treated at a hospital for minor injuries sustained during the fight, police have said.
