Also, you all know that there are a lot of us who do look at the President like he's some sort of god or super-being or something. Even though he's had a lot on his plate since getting inaugurated, he's still a political puppet like every president before him.
 



Harvey is right about Smiley. Tavis need to sit his "Tom" self down. He made a choice and lost, now deal with the consequences. Tom Joyner kicked him in the Arse not a word. Tavis is trying to get into the spotlight so he publicly criticizes the president.

If they don't use those words, how would you know they (Black people) believe that President Obama is some sort of deity or messiah who can do no wrong? And coincidentally, there are just as many Black people who STRONGLY DISLIKE President Obama and his plans for trying to build up America, even though he's the only one bringing plans and ideas to the table. Surely you check the Round Table Board; it's populated with President Obama's critics, naysayers, and those who just flat out hate and/or dislike him. Personally, I don't think anyone, Black or white or Asian or Hispanic or any other nationality is stupid enough to think of the President as some sort of deity or messiah.

You can sense extreme reverence or disdain for President Obama or anyone else through words and or actions.

Folks don't have to say, "Obama is our messiah" or "Obama is a deity" to know that folks revere and have a deep admiration for him. Just like some folks don't have to call Obama the N-word or some other slur for you to determine they are racist or hate the man.

But at the end of the day, there are people who view President Obama in that vein, though. You can hear it on talk radio, read it on blogs, message boards, in the streets at churches and barbershops. Those people exist just like folks who think Obama is the Anti-Christ, Hitler, a Marxist, Socialist, Muslim and anti-American.

I, like Kenny Reno, believe Obama is a puppet just like previous presidents were.

Mak, I can actually respect your view more than these other so call repubs because you point out the facts, but you and I know Regan and Clinton were the biggest pimps in the history of modern USA. They both played both sides. The Bushes just didn't have the sense to figure that out. I agree with most of the stuff you say, but 60% of the stuff Obama says an tries to do is knocked down because of the fear of who he is. That's the only thing that pisses me off in this new political scheme of things.

Speak for yourself. I've been around politics all my life and currently working in government. I read the topics like this and the ones in the round table forum and just SMH. Some of you don't understand that politics is one big game and unfortunately we the citizens are the pawns.

Thank you bruh. These folks actually try to be intellectual with politics, and don't realize that America is based off of color. It is run by color, and that color is not a race, ethnic group or creed. That color is Green.

He wasn't booted for raising taxes per say, but for the promise of not raising taxes. Remember read my lips, No new taxes. Reagan raised taxes and he got 2 terms.

The same way you read articles to form your opinions, do some research on public policy and politics. Better yet the next time your state legislature is in session go down and sit through some of the committee meetings. At any rate, speaking for myself I never implied that President Obama is/was anything else other than what he was voted in based on his agenda. You need to keep in mind that while he is the President, Congress is charged with the duties of enacting the laws of the land. While the President has the right to develop the federal budget based on his policies, he still needs to get it approved by Congress who also want certain things in the budget that they promised to the people who voted them in. Dude it's a game of give and take, and while it seems that the repubs are winning they are giving up stuff too. I bet that if the House of Representatives was controlled by the Dems, none of this crap that's going on now would be happening.
