Five things chicks don't get about us

1. Why at 27, I still can recite lines from old Simpsons episodes.

2. I don't want to be "fixed" or "figured out" and am not interested in assisting in any efforts to do so.

3. We watch sports and root for certain teams not so much because of the athletic contests themselves but because if our team wins, it proves we're better than people who root for other teams.

4. We don't care if you almost fell in because we left the seat up. We think you should have glanced at the toilet before you sat down.

5. Our love of video games. It's an escape. A welcome escape. It's a nice, cheap time-waster. You gripe that the new game we bought costs $50-$60, but we get more use of it than you'd think.

I grew up at 24 and don't have time for video games and other things, but I do like dabbling with operating systems and virtualbox.

I don't leave the seat up. I close the lid every time, since the regular toliet cause fluid to fly out.

I don't give a dayum who the Saints, Bulls, Braves, and most importantly, Jaguars beat. Just win.

I see what you mean by being fixed. I have no time for those types of females. Go find a boy somewhere else.

At this time, I've mostly forgotten about the Simpsons.

I can get with this list.

 @ the reciting lines from old "Simpsons" episodes. Uhhh....yeah...okay.

Ok, I'll admit it.....Not a day goes by without me reciting a least one line of Friday, Next Friday or Friday after next when hanging out with the fellas. Yeah I'm that person. WHAT!!!

That's different. Cause it's Friday, you're at your job, and still ain't got schitt to do. :lmao:

Right!!
The other day my co-worker told me, "I'm going to remember that"....before I even thought about it I was saying, "take a picture right it down I don't give a beeeep"!!! :lmao: Then I had to laugh b/c he's a white guy and probably didn't even catch what I was saying!!:lmao:

Friday does not equal the Simpsons!!

Ok now I know its not just me. LOL (players club is in heavy rotation too...mostly Bernie Mack quotes)

Oh heyal yeah!!! I use the "Chi-town" and "make that money...don't let it make you" qutoes all the time!!

Again...Players Club does not equal the Simpsons!!

How long have the Simpsons been on TV, 20 years or something like that? I've seen about almost every episode multiple times and even the movie twice. So, yeah, I can quote lines from Simpsons episodes.

"I’ve had it with this school, Skinner. Low test scores, class after class of ugly, ugly children." Superintendent Chalmers.

I all seriousness, I started watching the Simpson when I was in the first grade...I'm 26 now. So I've had my fill of the show. It is still a good show, but I think it has ran it's course.

There has to be something on TV to balance out all those bad reality shows.

TLC, Spike, and that other channel, where they build/refurshbish houses and fix cars.

Not interested. I like mature cartoons and sports. The only time I watched Spike on the regular was when that Surviving Disaster show was on. Now I know how to get through a nuclear meltdown or a mall rampage shooting!

Well, I'm into those types of shows because I'm not apt to pay someone to do something I can do myself.

This is another areas some womenfolk slip up at.

Aside from sports, I'm fascinated by medical shows where doctors perform elaborate surgeries. All the blood and guts doesn't bother me.

HGTV and Overhaulin'

That Overhaulin' show has me seriously thinking about buying a classic car and letting Chip Foose overhaul it. Like a '75 Corvette Stingray or something ....

The way to a man's heart is not his stomach, it's his mother.

The woman wears the dress and the pants at home.

Most of you all are minute men

You all like receiving but not giving

You all never grow up

That's a gat-dayum lie. I don't know how to recieve anything from my fiance'. It just feels weird.
I'm like the Energizer bunny. I keep going. And going. And going.
Like I said before, I grew up and put away childish things.

OLD Simpsons episodes
Family Guy
The Cleveland Show
The Daily Show
Friday
Coming to America
Boyz N the Hood...

All shows/movies I quote on the regular.

I watch those DIY shows all the time. I'm a single mother, and like you JH, I refuse to pay someone to fix something that I can do myself. I gotta watch every penny and can't afford to pay someone to do repairs around my house (unless it's electricity.....gotta have a professional licensed person). And I like attending those Home Depot DIY home improvement sessions. I love my ratchet wrench and my power screwdriver!
