Celtics Bandwagon Exit Thread

I haven't heard from bulls "fans" since Jordan days
where have they been?
what brought them back?

Do you know that the Bulls have had the best home attendance in the NBA over the last decade? That's WITHOUT Jordan and Co. being on the roster. So Bulls fans haven't gone anywhere.

The Bulls didn't need to pull a coup to get relevant again like the C's did.

the Celtics are the "winningest" team in the league
so they can't ever be irrelevant

I won't explain the untimely deaths that affected the C's

So the C's would have won more titles if Reggie Lewis and Len Bias hadn't died?

I could say the Bulls would have won more titles if Jordan didn't take 18 months off, or if the 1998 squad came back for the lockout-shortened 1999 season.

you could say that, by the way, I hope rose and whoever he plays with, beat
the heat, then lose to the Mavs later on.

rootin' for Eric Montross!!!

Eric Montross...I think was overrated.

Also...Ron Mercer(who played for Coach K at UK and signed with No Limit Sports) along with Antoine Walker.

Exactly.

Let me raise my hand. Been a Celtics fan before it was cool for black people to like the Celtics.

When KC Jones was the coach, Dennis Johnson(RIP) was PG, The CHIEF(RObert Parish) held the middle down and ole towel waving ML Carr..

The Bulls would've had an eight-peat if Jordan hadn't taken that time off.

Seeeeeeeeeee-yick!!!! But oh so true. lol I was a Celt when Johnson, Ainge, McHale, Bird, and "Chief" were the squad. Nobody could jump over a dime but they played what we'd learned @ that time, good team ball w/ no big "I's" and little "you's."

I see all the Front running BULLS fans that appeared and retired with JORDAN are back. Bulls fans were on the brink of extinction until 4 years ago.

I was and still am. I dealt with Tim Floyd being the head coach and one of my HS rivals by the name of Marcus Fizer played for him during those bad years. Hell Ron Artest was a model citizen when he played in Chicago.

I could not find a BULLS fan anywhere for almost a decade. They were in backrooms, crying over the fact that JORDAN was not gonna fly anymore. They didn't even ware Chicago gear anymore. It disappeared overnight. Now they all over the place buying ROSE jerseys left and right.

Man, I watched the Brent Barry, Ron Mercer, Greg Anthony, Jay Williams, Jamal Crawford, Fred Hoiberg Jalen Rose and an aging Charles Oakley Bulls era. That was bad basketball. Really bad basketball.

Maybe those bandwagon Bulls fans stopped paying attention to the team, but Chicago folks still followed the team, considering they led the league in home attendance even after Jordan, Pippen and Co. were gone.
