GOAT FARM!
Why do you think yall are entitled money from the Bayou Classic? It's a game against two rivals. Not a play-off nor championship game. Do people say ask for money for the Magic City, Turkey Day or the Capital Classic? I have always said we need to first win and schedule quality OOC on a consistent basis then think about playoffs: we as a conference aren't in any position to compete in the FCS Division 1 playoffs point blank, not in the current state. When schools can't beat D2 schools and we are supposedly are D-1, losing OOC games week end and week out how in the hell can many worry about playoffs and when i say play quality OOC games i'm not talking about FAMU, TNSU, etc. The SWAC is already an HBCU Conference and we play each other and that's enough HBCU games there. Many want to play the big boys so schedule them for your OOC games and see can you beat them during the regular season then think playoffs until then, the wishful thinking and half stepping is mute.
S/N I would love to see my G-Men whip up on the APPALACHIAN ST's, DELAWARE's etc but we have to regroup to get the teams more competitive. I'm not for getting my school embarrassed on national tv just to say we're in the playoffs.
When did I say that?
Please go back, find where I said that, and repost it for me please.
You the one that keep talking about it being a money maker and all that. I said it is a money maker for SU and GRAM. I also said the BC don't do anything for no other team in this conference besides Gram and SU. And to repeat, I never said DON'T PLAY THE GAME. All I suggested was MOVE THESE 2 GAMES BACK ONE WEEK SO THAT THE ENTIRE CONFERENCE, ALL 10 TEAMS, WILL BE PLAYOFF ELIGIBLE. Whats wrong with that. Will the BC and TDC die because of one week?
You still got the BC and TDC, (your money), still got a conference champ crowned in time for bids, and now all ten teams have a chance to play extra games in the playoffs. Whats wrong with that set-up. :noidea:
