SU AD LaFleur in Trouble with Law

I don't think it has nothing to do with your JAG at ESPN. I think it has more to do with him being an AD being arrested for prosititution, which doesn't happen every day in athletics, LOL. Also, with him being a former NFL player as well as being the father of a Gonzaga Basketball Player. This would've been blown up no matter what D-1 school this was.

It may not have anything to do with the SU alum working at ESPN, but it won't be a lost cause if she can make sure this airs. The more bad publicity surrounding this particular event, the more it puts pressure on Southern to do the right thing. And if this is what it takes to get the job done in ridding LaFleur, so be it. Southern can take advantage by making a public statement by letting the country know that this type of behavior is not now nor will ever be tolerated! If it means using LaFleur as an example, so be it!

This is a great example of a post from someone outside of a school who is really conserned..
If you can't post with this type of "realness" because you actually care.. don't post shyt.. or if you don't care... do like me and DON'T pretend to care and just post nothing... or say some real shyt like..

" I hope SU still keeps him, because I actually like it when SU is down.. I makes my life that much more meaningful"...

The judge said "misdemeanor offense of prostitution". I think it means he's still guilty of prostitution because he attempted to patronize a prostitute.

(a) Prostitution.--A person is guilty of prostitution if he
or she:

(e) Patronizing prostitutes.--A person commits the offense
of patronizing prostitutes if that person hires a prostitute or
any other person to engage in sexual activity with him or her or
if that person enters or remains in a house of prostitution for
the purpose of engaging in sexual activity.

(e.1) Grading of offenses under subsection (e).--An offense
under subsection (e) constitutes a:
(1) Misdemeanor of the third degree when the offense is
a first or second offense.
(2) Misdemeanor of the second degree when the offense is
a third offense.
(3) Misdemeanor of the first degree when the offense is
a fourth or subsequent offense.
(4) Felony of the third degree if the person who
committed the offense knew that he or she was human
immunodeficiency virus (HIV) positive or manifesting acquired
immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS).

(e.2) Publication of sentencing order.--A court imposing a
sentence for a second or subsequent offense committed under
subsection (e) shall publish the sentencing order in a newspaper
of general circulation in the judicial district in which the
court sits, and the court costs imposed on the person sentenced
shall include the cost of publishing the sentencing order.



Don't know if the state of Texas law is the same as the above.
 
All I know is in the state of Louisiana there's a distinct difference between prostitution and soliciting.

I would venture to say that in such a conservative state as Texas it is also.

I could be wrong.
