SWAC made a error because according to AAMU's site, they are playing the double header tomorrow and not Sunday. I think JSU and Valley are the only ones who are playing the double header Sunday.

Southern set for Texas Southern

Once already this week, thunder and lightning drove the Southern baseball team to willingly forfeit a game it could have won.

Evidently, Mother Nature decided one good curveball deserves another.

The Jaguars face Texas Southern this weekend in a three-game Southwestern Athletic Conference series, which begins with a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday, and the threat of rain has led to a change of venue.

The games were originally scheduled for the Houston Astros’ Urban Youth Academy in north Houston — but earlier this week, TSU said it had to move the games to its usual home field, MacGregor Park, because of the threat of bad weather.

Saturday’s forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies and a 20-percent chance of rain, according to a report from the National Weather Service.

“We have the tarps and other necessary equipment to prepare MacGregor Park for play after it rains,” TSU coach Michael Robertson said. “At this time, the (Urban Youth) Academy does not have the necessary equipment, and we don’t want (to) risk canceling the games.”

Foster hasnt started this season. Foster is a great starter, but because of SU depth hasnt got a chance to start. Great problem to have.
