I've heard Doss and Leon Douglas(Tuskegee). Also Willie Hayes(don't think that's likely though) and Sam Jackson.

If you get Hayes.... u may as well keep Pettaway.... Hayes was doing the majority of coaching lately.... Jackson recruits all those sorry/soft Georgia players that come and leave AAMU.... Douglas.... hell na. Doss, would LOVE to see him as an assistant (we would lock up the area recruiting) but not sure if he is read for a D1 coaching job..... Dont be surprised if you see Antoine Pettway (assistant at Alabama and former Bama player) in the mix.... u also may see Howard Pride (former Mr. Basketball from Butler) in the mix also. Pride has been an assistant at Tn State, Howard, UAB and was on staff with Detroit Pistons. He is a Jack Doss prodigy and his nephew is the number 1 point guard in the state... been starting since 8th grade and has 3 state championship rings.

Also heard that Sam Jackson is actually pulling for Doss(behind the scenes) since he was an asst of Doss's a while ago. With that relationship established already he would be retained as an asst....Douglas is from N Alabama, is a former player at Alabama, and has had marginal success everywhere he has been....I remember Howard when he was in high school. He would come up to A&M and play pick-up ball with us. I was kind of a mentor to him. He played at Vanderbilt.

would have to talk with the SU folks about that one.... Ive heard Grant was a good recruiter at SU but questionable coach..... I know he had a good squad this year at Stillman.
