Do huh? Do whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?!

S96 is on the level my old self used to be on as a recent young'in, #1, so I feel quite confident he'll hold his own. Keep poking and you're gonna' get what you're asking for. And this will be P88 when he starts in on y'all ---> :emlaugh:  :lmao:

I don't smack SU, #1.

You can carry on w/ your tirade though. You and Nonchal must've majored in Diversion @ JState, eh?

oh and since you brought this whole "D" thing back up. Actually, I agree better with the C average thing than the "you gotta take a class over if you get a D or F". At JSU, if you get a D, that is YOUR D but you can't graduate with less than a 2.0 so you have to work your azz off for EVERY D or F you get. At PV, it seems that a person will/can graduate with an inflated GPA becasue they MUST have a C in everything. Does that D or F go away? So if I was at PV, and I knew I was about to get a D or F, why would I even care? I can just blow the class off and have it replaced the next year. :smh: What kind of academic integrity is that? It would also make it harder for kids at JSU to remain eligible becasue they can't just "replace grades". That is why we are the #1 academic institution in the SWAC.

"Have it replaced"? nah... you act like since you made that D or F, you can just waltz in and get the C or better because you are trying again. NO... there was a reason you were failing the first time and you have to fix that the 2nd time around.

So when is SUcks applying for their waiver?

They don't have too. :smh:
JSU is the only school in the nation being singled out. NCA@T football APR was 843 and they actually lost schollies last year. You ain't heard one word about the NCAA on their azz or anyone elses azz that has lower scores than JSU. It is what it is............More selective NCAA bullshat. :smh:

The same thing as getting it replaced. Sure, you have to PASS with a C or better the next time but your D disappears. :smh:

Most schools that are singled out has a consistent problem of APR troubles.

Get real cause football was up around 916 bells last year and climbing. :smh:
16 out of 18 sports way above the 925 average, baseball is around 903, leaving only football with a drop like that and according to NCAA WAIVER standards, that is consistant with an athletic department that is out of control?

RIGHT............... And again get real. :smh:

JSU does the same thing, though. You didn't know that? I'm sure the college you work for does it too,

Yeah, we do but that is ONLY if your GPA falls below 2.0. If it doesn't, oh well. That is a D you have to carry with you for the rest of your life.

No you don't... you can repeat a course and the new grade is used as your grade.

REPEAT A COURSE POLICY
(Undergraduate Students Only)
For all undergraduate students at Jackson State University who
repeat a course(s), the highest grade earned will be used in
calculating the grade point average.
However, the semester hours
for the repeated course will remain as a part of the attempted
hours.
1. To repeat a course in which a low grade has been recorded,
a student must register for the same course.
2. Petitions will be automatically processed and the highest
grade for the course is maintained.
3. A course repeated for the purpose of replacing a low grade
must be taken at Jackson State University.
4. The grade for the most recently repeated course will be
computed in the cumulative grade point average. However,
all grades earned will be retained on the student’s official
transcript.

Spivery boys really are dumb. They're the only dummies who didn't know you could buy your grades at sucks.
What were they doing down there on the bluff?
Not going to class and datum sure wasn't practicing
Probably spent all their time kickin'it in the palisades like the rest if the hooligans.

What improvement?

And remember, we're talkin "Athletics" not one sport.

Uh Beans. Our trouble started before Pete left. The improvements started then once we had those APR issues a few years ago. It was only in that sport. This basketball thing is new and will get Spivery fired for reason now. Not like he shouldn't have before. SU hired people to fix some of the issues and just hired some more new folks. I am sure the JSU thing has been known by your Admin as well. That's why they were not trying to give Fat Rick an extension. Braddy saw it coming. So they allowed him to hang himself. In our case, Spivery and our AD both need to be gone. That's why I aint riding Stump too hard for trying to get players who want to go to school. What good is it to go 11-1 and all your players are flunking out. The NCAA has served notice. The big schools won't even touch these borderline players anymore. They all end up at our schools now. So going forward, we will have to be more selective. Especially if your student body is graduating ahead of your athletes. Right now our athletes are out performing the students. Maybe that's why the NCAA aint on us as hard. But make no mistake......they are paying attention to SU just like they are JSU. Comegy knew what he was doing and didn't try to change anything. Yall were on him so hard to win, he reverted or continued his ways of recruiting. We all have to protect the HBCU academic brand at all costs. Can't let these kids who don't care about school play.

You really have no clue. Such a bitter young cat. LOL. Spivery aint keeping kids on the team long enough for them to do isht. They are here and then gone. That's the real issue. Yall better worry about your cash cow football program that Fat Rick is destroying. Not only can't he win consistently. He can't bring in the right kids either. Oh well. Folks warned yall about him. I rather have Stump losing and sending kids to class than to have my money making program in a position that yours is in. ~snicker~

Ouch!

Right but you only get to do that if your GPA is lower than a 2.0. You can't inflate your GPA at Jackson State by turning 5 Ds into As and Bs.

At most institutions you can retake the class even if you made a C and can raise your gpa with A's or B's whipping out the C so i would think 5 D's would get overwrited by 5 A's or 5 B's.
