Uhhhhh.... yes he did. I was at the game. We knocked TC's ass out the game and they brought freshman Kent into the game for maybe one series until we knocked HIS ass out the game so they had to bring sorry ass TC back into the game.
Don't believe me, go check the stats (media guide).
Matter fact, he teaches Science at an elementary school here in Houston; I know another teacher at the same school and ran into him at a function and brought that game up and trust me he remembers.

We all know that Kent didn't start or get any decent PT until the Southern Heritage Classic. I think he went 1 for 19 at one point in that game...lol but that 1 was a TD to Lawrence Story. Kent used that game to get broke in and we actually won once he got it together. JSU led by TC beat Howard in Chitown and then JSU came home and lost to TxSorry. That was enough to warrant a QB change the following week.
