We were tryin to give the little guys a chance. Besides, their band director and many of their assistants are from JSU. They were lined up behind us so they were the only band there and that was not the only time we went up against them at Honda.

Why is it that only SU folks on here are trashing The BOOM, when the crowd who ACTUALLY witnessed the event IN PERSON gave them applause? Just curious. Is it because you guys are the only ones that THINK you know showmanship or is it that you guys are just plain ole jealous? The latter seems to be the more obvious.

So far from the truth. I was there. JSU was no where near the favorite. They got their just do in the beginning but once the show unfolded, you can clearly see that the fancy "wrapping paper" revieled an empty "gift". I'm in no way trying to trash the boom. Outside of "swac rivalry" I actually like them. The problem most people have is that people can point out blatently obvious things and some JSU affiliates will deny it. Thats were the respect is lost with a lot of people.
Aside from how JSU/SU feels about each other, there is no way anyone from the boom can condone the behavior in that clip. Honestly people, that shyt was ghetto. Being hungry to battle is fine. But last I checked, champions don't look for battles, they are normally the ones defending them. So now we have to ask the question.......who was "who" in that clip. :noidea:

Its not that JSU isn't a good band,
......the problem is, they put more effort into "saying" they are the boom instead of "being" the boom.

dude posted a thread from the 5th Q where it's waaaay more knowledgable bandsmen on there then what we have on here these days.... and it's folks from many school clowning JSU way harder than my fello Jag in here.
It's called "truth".... something I found out a lot of people really handle.
Besides most of the folk in here from JSU don'r know sugar from shyt about band.. even the few that supposingly march for the boom... the real JSU bandsmen BEEN left this board....
