LOL, this is a good one. First, GSU fans ain't going nowhere but to the Bayou Classic and Alcorn fans ain't going nowhere but to Jackson. It will take more than a few 15-20,000 fans to rival the JSU/SU intensed, electrifiying, exilirating, best bands in the land, game of JSU/SU. But hey, it's worth the try.

Bruh Alcorn's campus was jammed packed for Homecoming and the only people on the visitor side was DCG, C-leb, the people who rode with them and the Ocean. Now if they can't get fans to fill 22K seats for HC, they shole ain't gonna fill it with the help of those non-traveling Grambling fans.

I can see Alcorn bringing a lot of fans on the road to Grambling (if the team is winning) but not Grambling. They only travel well to Dallas.
BTW, neither of those two schools' bands are on the level of the Boom-Box so Alcorn/Gram will never be on the level of JSU vs. Southern.

Yeah but Alcorn should be able to fill up their own stadium. Why do they even let ya'll in there. If JSU had a 22K seater, only the Jukebox would get a seat and they would need security on each side... SU fans would have to sit in the grass. :lol:

Hint...Hint...Black folks love drama. This is why I was so adament about making Grambling our first game of the season. If Grambling wasn't playing in The Port City Classic and I, Braveheart, were Athletic Director, I would make that happen. And if Doug gets the job...again...it is going to be pandamonium.
It would shock you how many people come just to start mess and see drama unfold. As an athletic director, you manipulate your business to cater to this. If people are coming out to see it, capitalize on it as much as possible. However, no product is successful without Marketing.

It amuses me when folk say that Grambling doesn't travel well, when in actuality even our home games require travel. Our fanbase is not in Grambling. Our largest and nearest fanbase is 36 miles away. JSU sits in the capital of Mississippi without any other team (other than Milsaps and only parents of athletes can go to those games) and yall still need SU to make a 40k crowd. Take out the SU game and post your 11k avg attendance for the past two seasons.
But I do believe he was talking about football which Grambling has won against all 3 of yall bittch azz wussy programs for the past 3 (SU), 4 (Alcorn), and 6 (JSU) regular season matchups. I'm so tired of these lower tier programs that have struggled to catch up with Southern U. to make these series respectable until it is not funny. All of these scrub board washed up program can't even keep a coach for a formidable amount of time. Southern needs to be the charter member of a new conference and not allow any country town schools in.........So right off of the top Prairie View, Valley, grambling, alcorn, Pine Bluff and Valley would be eliminated. My gawd, I am so tired of being all of these hand me down schools Super Bowl. When is it going to stop people?

Lower tier? You better look at our championships verses Southern who has been in existence before Grambling. Hell we would probably beat SU with the two coaches we have left currently. lmao Now that's the sad part about it. When was the last year Southern had a decent football team overall? If you allow a lower tier to beat you azz 3 years in a row you are below lower tier, SU football isn't lower tier it's nonexistent. :lmao::lmao:

Every time a gramblingnite see a Southernite they should genuflect and thank their lucky star that we allow them to be mentioned in the same sentence. That goes for the rest of the rural schools too. I am sick and tired of the hand me down schools not pulling their weight. These damned schools can't even win a MEAC/SWAC challenge.

Without SU, we had 13K vs Delta State (about big as your homecoming), 18K for Valley, 24K for AAMU and 24K for Homecoming...
