With big wins over Gardner Webb, UTPA, a Chapmpionship in the Rice Univ tourney w/ wins over Long Beach State & UL Monroe the Lady Panthers seem to be a force to be reckoned with headed into the SWAC!

First year Coach Toyelle Wilson seems to be fully capable of picking up where Cooper-Dyke left off!

Not at all people don't know that Toyelle was a steal of an assistant & PV has a quality hire in her... She tells me all the time that she wants to win games outside the SWAC as bad as she wants to win SWAC.. Thans a championship attitude if I ever heard one!

Yall want folks to hate on it, huh? I think most fans of the SWAC are happy that you guys won... I know for a fact that I was happy like a mofo that yall beat ULM (we beat them too!)

That's pretty much always the case. It's not that people hate them, they just want to be hated.

You dont even believe what you just wrote. We've been consistently whipping y'all ass in hoops for quite some time now... I blame it on that Too Big ass gym yall wasted $ on. Yall used to have the #1 atmosphere, now yall just about dead last....

You also got to look at it that they have played in 2 tournament championship games finishing 2nd against OU and winning the Rice tourny.

They have 1 more holiday tournament to play in late Dec and 2 tough opponents before that, so they will be seasoned and ready for conferance play come Jan.

Coop has taken UNCW on like she did with PV, they were talking big noise over her hire. Now they have seen her coach and got their teams some wins and they are changing what they thought about her real quick.

Coop has to ride out the storm with the players she inherited. She could have taken the HIGH ROAD and not allowed the current players to stay there and bring in her own type of players, however she didn't, so her first couple years are going to be shakey. The players she inherited REALIZE the type of players she is recruiting and they are not taking it well. Give Coop her time and she will be a force at UNCW!

Oh I know that, it's all them UNCW folks that didn't like her being hired in the first place. They just kept talking all kinds of noise about when she got in trouble with the NCAA her first year at PV and how she quit coaching while in the WNBA. Now they actually seen her in action and got that team some wins and a good job against Ohio St, they are changing that tune. I'm glad this gig is a stepping stone to something bigger and will leave them behind in the dust.

Yea y'all will be our main comp this year... im waiting too se how it'll go. Watch out for our freshman #10. She reminds me of a taller (sphomore year) version of Candice Thomas..
