The info I got about the Doug deal was it would be way more than 200K. And like I said, the folks who stopped the Doug hire were high powered SU alums who wanted no part of Doug. So powerful, that even TC himself couldn't get the board to roll with him. And even then, it wouldn't have been any different than what happened with Stump and the AD. TC was trying to hook his boy Doug up. Doug probably got more connections at SU than he do at his own alma mater. We all know Doug has longed for the SU job. Not shocking to me. But the fact was, powerful SU alums with money in their pockets blocked the deal. Which allowed the AD to bring in Stump. Which is puzzling. You would have thought TC would have just said okay, then let's hire Heish or Asberry. I think Heish messed himself up asking for close to Pete money. Then kind of put us out there with that got to have 10 assistants deal when he of all people should know what SU has to deal with budget wise. Don't know what happened with Asberry and his candidacy.

TC is at fault too. He could have still offered the job to Heish or Asberry. He allowed it. So did the board. Just because they turned Doug away. Didn't mean they had to allow the AD to get his choice hired. So they bought into Stump as well.

House at WR? What are you talking about Beans. And you can't find one post where I said he got to win a championship or he is out back in 2005 or 06. Especially after Ricks had just left the season before and JC was just starting in 05 for the first time. Then Katrina hit. So naw Beans it was the second extension that I was not for. And JR was publically against the extension in 07 and said he had to earn his paycheck. Well to the SU admin and board....he did by going 8-3. So he saved his job. But this was time I was talking LC Cole would be nice when BLee was still a young Qb and we had G. Landry at WR. But yall said JR was wrong. It wasn't 08 because he was already in his first year of the extension. Wasn't nothing to be said then.

Aren't you currently 6-3? Are you certain that you will defeat UAPB and Alcorn? On the basis of what? You do realize that you've lost 2 out of your last 3, right? You do realize that both UAPB and Alcorn's qb is playing better than yours, huh? And you do realize that both of those teams have a semblance of a defense, right?

I'm disappointed...really, I was looking forward to punishing yall azz in B'ham. But I wouldn't be surprised if yall didn't go 6-5... I just don't see what yall see in Comegy, not as a championship calibre coach. That's as far-fetched as thinking Johnnie Cole is gonna win the West. Not logical!

Beans knows that. He is just using SU and Stump for his diversion to mask the pain of that loss and his coach dropping F bombs. I bet Beans was like thank goodness for SU and Stump. LOL.

The ironic thing is, they need to hope SU can help them this weekend. LOL..... No wonder he is smacking only about us. He knows we can't help JSU.
