I mean, IMAGINE THIS: You're in school, and someone sucker punches you, when you are unable to do anything about it. You KNOW this dude rides the same bus as you, but when school is out, he avoids you and gets a ride with someone in their car. Boomers, I tell you now.... Any silly-azz'd shenannigans like that will only make the beating WORSE..... Every made your parents chase you around the room to spank you.... And then they TAX-DAT-AZZ for making them chase you... Mr.J could just be talking or could really want to do what he say... okay! If Murray already know what Mr.J plans to do... let HIM get his band there EXTRA early! it's just that simple... all this outside tampering.. man come on.. Let the kids play!

That's no different from a parent jumping in a Pop-Warner league game making a tackle for his son's team...

You ever done something that seemed like a GREAT idea at the time, and then later only find out and start thinking "FCUUUUUUUUK......... What was I thinking?!" I'm sure them lil' JStankies had FUN playing on SU when it couldn't be returned, but RIGHT after that, got a DEEP sinking feeling in thir stomachs.... Probably been having nightmares for the past 2weeks, too. Hope y'all savoured the moment.....

You right brah... your analogies are wild man....lol I agree though...

Man I really which it was footage of my Junior year in HS when all the New Orleans bands were in one big parking lot and Kennedy was like the BAND you really don't F with...much like SU... 35 was right next to them, like trombone slide distance ... Kennedy was warming up, 35 drummers kept interupting.... Kennedy was playing "Sade".. soft and sweet.. 35 still cutting in with their drummers...
Then Mr.F-horn (Ronald B.) SU legend was DM at the time at Kennedy... cuts his band off....
Makes Kennedy wrap his 170 piece band around McD.35 like a Horse shoe.... still at trombone slide distance...

All I have to say is MAN..!!!! If you are imagining what happened after that.. All I can tell you is.. since you didn't know how crucial that Kennedy band was ... I have to tell you it was 10 times WORST!!!...lmao

That entire parking lot got quiet and didn't play a note after what Kennedy did 35... Matter of fact after each song Kennedy loaded off into 35 all you heard through out that parking lot by the Superdome was..

"OOOOOHHHH.. DAYUUUUUUM.... GOOD LAWWWWD.....YOU HEARD THAT ISHT!!!!... "

Man 35 was wrong and provoked it.... and we STILL felt sorry for 35....lmao

35 was the second biggest band out there that day.. now this is when 35 band was good as well.....
But everybody knew you don't F with Kennedy in that close of an enviroment...

That isht made what we did JSU in 97 look like damn near nothing.... 35 stood there and took 6 STRAIGHT songs in the ARSE!!! With FIRE and everything else you could imagine from a 170 piece TRUE New Orleans baby SU....lol
 
This ain't 1997. If I was the band director, I would let SU come in first and let them blow on me. We are Jackson State and no one enters a stadium like us. We would just have to handle SU once we got into the stands. Heck or I would get on the ramp and blow right back at ya'll punks! :lol: It ain't like you have the volume of 1997 anymore so I would just go for the grand JSU entrance..... Alcorn tried to blow us on entering the stadium in 1999 and got boo'ed. Same thing would happen to ya'll. We were just caught off guard in 1997 but the events of two weeks ago have evened the score. Ya'll don't want none of the BOOM at ALL!

I always wondered when I heard those stories about Doc looking the other bands in the stands... how did it feel to have SU unloaded song after song when you know you have nothing else left to play and your BD is over there hollaring at the DM..
