I think Stump's elephant mouth overloaded his mosquito ass. He reminds me of Melvin Spears all mouth. You notice the winning coaches in the SWAC like Jones, Pete and Broadway say very little and stay out of the newspapers.

Jones ain't had to say anything because he had Air2 Mcnair,Pete ran the same ole line about getting his teams ready, and the only misstep Broadway made was saying that the Bayou Classic was just a game.Other than that these guys didn't let their mouth write a check that they ass couldn't cash.

you talking about Cardell Jones from Alcorn. He talking about Anthony Jones from AAMU.

the players just need to settle down and play ball.....i think some are trying to do too much and are making mistakes

Your players are just not good. It's too early in the season for ya'll to get blown out like this. It gets worse. Those kids are gonna quit and you will need a running clock. Bell didn't start off this bad because Hughes left him some talent. Pete didn't leave schitt.

TP, Pete left some talent because of the players who were there last year on an 8-3 team. This just shows how incompetent Stump's pro-style offense is turning out to be against college teams. It won't work, but Stump is bent on running it and trying to force it to work. Blitzing and blitzing and blitzing without a purpose will get you beat, beat, beat.

Saturday will be Valley's best chance to win all year. You can bet they'll try and take advantage of it.

Uh Jay Rob, who is there from the 8-3 team in 07? House wasn't on the field that year. Neither was any of these Srs. Chinyoung may have been the only one who played that year. You can't be serious. You do realize that team was lead by Gerard Landry and Darren Coats. Even B. Lee was a R-Soph that year. And if he was a redshirt Soph and he is gone for 2010. You know damn well nobody else was around. Even the Redshirt Srs this year.......were just allowed on the practice field in 07 as redshirt Freshmen. And it should tell you something if they never made the field during the years they were Sophs and Jrs. while Pete was there.

I was referring to your '09 team from last year. They went 6-5 instead of 8-3. I tried to give yall two wins you didn't deserve. My bad.:emlaugh:

From last year's team, Pete left enough talent for SU not to be 1-3. I thought Stump's "superior" SWAC coaching staff was supposed to make you all an instant winner. Now all of a sudden, people like you are turning on Pete....and this in spite of all he's done for yall over the past decade and a half. Shame, shame, shame.

Pete don't deserve to be treated like this.:smh:

Sure dont JayR, Pete never did anything wrong to them. He just gave his best until his best wasnt good enough for them. They used him like a old beat up mule and then put him out back behind the barn. Pete didnt even get to tell his SWAC friends bye on his last tour.

Stump has overloaded his mouth!!! Now he has the whole jaguar nation up his a** to get this team on the right track!!! Regardless we are stuck with him for this year and most likely next year... Pete would have never put that kind of pressure on those kids like stump has done at least not in the papers!!! Man is it to late to get Pete back LOL!!!!! I hope we can turn it around an at least get a winning season out of this. With two losses in swac, a championship is just about out of the question

I think Stump overstated and bumped his gums too much. But that alone should have been a red flag for Jag Fans. I looked at the Roster and it just didn't read as a contender now. over 40 Freshmen and RS Sop on the team, new coaching staff, and new system. No way this was gone be a 12-0 team. But the glaring thing you see from SU is the lack of talent at the skill positions. Shoot he could have been humble but lack of talent will show.

Huh? PhillyJag said that the nation will never be divided over Sweet Lenny.

No smack intended, but Murker, if Stump loses to Valley, you might be tempted to change that "k" to a "d" in your name for obvious reasons.

But all Spring and SUmmer all Jag folks were co-signing all that jackassery Stumpy was saying (in public mind you). :retard:

Don't let the HOBO 2.0 come in town and pimp a win.

Oh, JC gonna take delight in that. And you're right Cleb. All these guys (I will call them Sweet Lennettes) were over here jumping for joy about the drills Sweet Lenny was putting their players through. You know the ones, the same ones that Bell had our guys going through. Then the Sweet Lennettes were talking about the discipline that Sweet Lenny was instilling in the players that Pete didnt. And now, the tale of two cities, they lead the conference in penalty yardage.

Don't forget all the photos of the AARP folks at Bayou Bashes, Alumni Stompin with Stump shows...

"See..... they love the Stump"

Seriously. Folks are fickle. If Pete was still coaching and had lost to PB 41-38. There would be folks calling for his head. Street Committee send help. LOL. This is typical on the Bluff. Folks wanted Casem gone. Folks wanted Pete gone believe it or not during the time he was winning in the 90s. Stump could be 4-0 and folks who never wanted him there to begin with would still want him gone. It is what it is. Calvin Magee could be our coach and if he had brought the same offense they run at Michigan and it didn't work ......folks would call for his head. Folks would say Rich Rod must have been the real guy behind it all. See where I am going with this.

JR, you gone need more than Lysol to clean that mess up Stump's leaving on the Mumford grass and in your above comments.

This is nothing like Pete or Casem. They never started this poorly in their first year, so you need to come up with something better than that. Pete and Casem are miles and miles ahead of Stump in coaching ability and knowledge.
His pro-style offense is tailor made to lose and that he's doing with mastery.
