No he didn't. He got his raise after winning the 03 SCG and going back in 04. He got an extention after going 8-3 in 07 with no raise. He got fired after his 2nd year of the extention which was last season. You guys do not know more about SU than I do. So stop all this foolishness. LOL.

Reading is fundamental. Did he go 3-7? That was the gist of the conversation. LOL. Not to mention he beat certain teams those years to keep some of the pressure off. Lucky for him he had just come off back to back SCG's in 03 and 04. and he was in his first year of the big money contract in 05 and second year in 06. 2005 was the Katrina year. So nothing was going happen to him no matter what.
 
JR all they can do is lie to try to bring SU to their low level.... Pop said we had to hire security for jacoby.. Hell I had 3 classes with Jacoby that year and our white kicker... was never no security on campus.... Hell them two dude didn't really hang out together while on campus.. Jacoby hung with a lot of the brothers and had a sister "girlfriend".....

They have been lying about Jacoby on this board for years. They read a couple of articles done on Jacoby and swore we ran ole dude off. When basically he held that job down only because Sam George was ineligible in 96 and when he came back in 97 he sat the bench behind Jacoby. Then in 98 when Jacoby couldn't take Orlando getting in his face and threatening to remove him as the starter. He quit. So basically the our WHITE OC was the one who ultimately decided Jacoby was going have to play better or get pulled. He did it in the NW State game and Jacoby got pissed because he knew he wasn't ever going to get back on the field when Sam got his chance again.Hell Orlando pulled Eric Randall for a young Sam in 95. LOL. Jacoby just let the pressure get to him. Nothing more and nothing less. All this he was getting threatened and stuff was over the top. Yeah he got threatened. By his coach.

JR your splitting hairs. Bottom line he had two back to back losing seasons and you claimed he wouldn't hav emade it. In fact he made it three more years and got a raise period. 4-5 is no different than 3-7. It's a subpar losing season and 5-6 is just as bad.

And your boy is delusional. SU has had 7 losing season in the last 30 years to JSU's 5. You've also had a lot of 6-5 season way more than JSU buddy...We aren't used to losing. And another thing. Tell Spivery Hi...

With JR, splitting hairs is the run of the mill. And to them, 4-5 is a reason to get an extention.

4-5 is a team that missed .500 by one game

The fact some of you want company with a 3-7 record is what needs to be frown upon...

3-7 goes in the boat with your teams that finishes 2-8, 1-9, or 0-10...

Besides this is the present not the past it been some years sense we went 4-5 and that coach is gone.. meanwhile yall coach who finished 3-7 is still sitting pretty...
