My wife and I left with the score 2-0 so I have no idea about it. Since they were ejected, I'm assuming they cannot play tomorrow and PV will be fined for each ejection.
 
They were likely ejected for some of the "heckling" that was going on. Not 100% sure, but the 1st base ump had warned the dugout a couple of times before the ejections, so it wasn't out of the clear blue.

Decked out in Negro League uniforms, the Southern baseball team turned back the clock — just a little bit — during Saturday’s doubleheader against Grambling at Lee-Hines Field.

SU didn’t reach back six or seven decades. It was more like one or two years.

In winning the first game 14-12 and losing the second game 11-5, Southern didn’t exactly look like a group of all-stars. Following a pattern that has lasted for much of the season, the Jaguars made mental mistakes in the field (four errors, four hit batsmen) and stranded too many base runners (22 in all).

They are. Poor base running, not doing the little things, not advancing runners, bad approach @ the plate, etc etc etc, but they are still tied for 1st place even with the horrible play.

PS. Gram is the best hitting team in the west.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama State baseball team fell behind early in a disappointing 19-4 loss to Jackson State Saturday evening at Paterson Field.

The series opening loss snapped a four-game win streak for the Hornets (9-9, 4-5 SWAC). The Tigers improved to 15-11 overall and 6-3 in conference play.

Jackson State finished with 18 hits and saw seven different players record multi-hit performances. Chad Hall went 4-for-5 in leading JSU at the plate while Trae Rutland finished 3-for-5 with four RBI and three runs scored.

I said that last week as they're the most experienced team in the West....this would've been year 4 of Barret's team

if you're coaching and building a program right, you should be in the touney in year 2 at worst, competing for a title in year 3 and expected to win in year 4

They can hit. The HR Roby hit was on a good pitch. He had to go out of the K-zone and lift it out.
