dude STOP fronting like you're upset
That actually gave you JOY.
you're happy that you have something to smack about.
You're talking about the ESPN message boards but you ran to the smack board pulling up an old thread with the quickness to post smack.

So stop fronting and continue with your smack in the smack forum.

Just keep it REAL!

I think the guy you're talking to is from Jackson State ........(could be wrong)

wow somebody got busted.....

I'm still proud of dem Tigers, but if not for that Self-Inflicted 7 point possession, even with the early turnovers...who knows....I think they could have won that game...and like my boy said earlier...I think Coach Anderson missed a golden op....He should have ran and pressed them early and got some easy baskets which would have cut down on those turnovers and worn down an already tired Miss. St team.....

But still proud of Dem Tigers and especially GJ who really did get his shine on....Just wish that one bad play had not happened and wondering what the outcome would have been.....Anyway God bless the young man and I hope he realizes and understands his mistake and learns from it.

Props to UAPB and Jackson....Much Love to My SWAC Family!!!!!!!!!

Dude, YOU ROCK OUT LOUD........TWICE!:)

Jackson State is to be commended on their success in OUR conference......to beat everyone in your conference (football, basketball, baseball, bowling, tennis, golf, swimming, volleyball, etc) is a great accomplishment. Jackson State Tigers are the 2010 Regular Season SWAC Basketball Champions and I too am proud of them and will always respect their achievement.

:topic::topic::topic:

Much love and shout out to the Southern University Lady Jags. We ain't fo'got about yall!:)

THE SWAC IS THE BEST!!!!!!!

Press them and their athleticism would've taken over, tired or not. That would've led to many easy baskets and many turnovers and quick shots for you----BLOWOUT.

They were tired, listless, and indifferent. You play a ball control game and work it for a good shot. That would keep them disinterested and out of rhythm. The crowd would be the same way. If you speed the game up, you're playing to their strength.

Miss State was a tired basketball team. Press the first half and they wouldnt have had any legs .

After watching that game against Kentucky, I felt like Mississippi State should have been in the big dance. Like Kentucky coach said after the game, "If we're number one, then where is Mississippi State?"

For record that post was old and done until the a certain school won the regular season conference. They kept running their mouths despite the early date of that posting-before the conference games started.

Then Grambling State sent J-State to the NIT.

Now they want to praise UAPB for doing what J-State couldn't do. Win a game and end that streak of 17 years of not winning a tourney game.

Jackson State killed themselves and gave that game away.

You should go to bed. Jackson State and UAPB both played hard tonight and represented themselves and their conference as best they could. Stop being so jealous and go to bed. :emlaugh:

Skyvolt.......

Please recognize these 2 teams for the wonderful efforts they have done in basketball. Both of these programs have great talent and have went on to take the SWAC to an even higher level. And it's not just JSU and UAPB......we just added on to what SU, GSU, Alcorn, MVSU, AAMU, Alabama State, TXSU, and the 2009 SWAC Football Champions PVU have been doing for years.......these institutions have not only produced prominent athletes who went to become great, but have produced prominent citizens who continue make successful contributions to society. You should be proud that the SWAC represents so well athletically, as well academically. Please give praise where it is due and be happy for THE BIG 10.....because whether you want to admit it or not................THE SWAC IS THE BEST!!!!!!

If you believe in something, support it. But don't try to belittle.

just read Kareem's tweets from the sideline...

He mentioned earlier that things were getting "chippy" between Phil and Bost.

Then Moments later: smh

Phil is gonna wish like hell he would have just let it go.
If someone would have told me a player was gonna do that I would have picked Blake

Also I'd like to give a round of  to the Freshman, Raymond Gregory #44
Dude is gonna be a Star Player Soon.

Maybe.....but that first half looked a whole lot like that Crap yall sent us. Hint Hint
images
...and we know you can't WIN with that!!! LOL!

But seriously, in my opinion it just seemed that they were playing "not to loose at that point".....

Hit the Giant in the Mouth and see what he has....Jackson was the team without the preasure....See if the Giant can handle what you throw at him, don't just give him pass by assuming that he can....Like I said before dem boys were sleepwalking and more importantly seemed tired. Hell try them.....

Plus playing that style I think cause a lot of those turnovers, cause on quiet a few occasions they passed up scoring ops to slow the game down and then eventually came away with turnovers (Not even and attempt at a shot) who know if they would have made those attempts or even gotten to the line and cause foul trouble for Miss. State....Just my observation....I'm just aggressive like that....I aint the type to just assume that you are better than me just cause someone said that you were....I gonna do something to make you proove it to me....and who knows...Maybe the "Giant" doesn't have it in him that night....Who Knows.....

But at the end of the day I do see where you are coming from and do understand that philosophy, but it was just not the way I would have done it.....

Look Coach Anderson been doing this for a long time and he has seen way more B-ball than me, so if that is the way he saw to go at it then I have nothing but the utmost respect for him....and still hold strongly that I am so very proud of Him and His Jackson State Tiger B-ball team....

Dang Phillip! I like that kid and still do. I said last year he's going to
be a baller. I didn't expect this from him. He made a very bad mistake but I wouldn't crucify him just yet. He's just a kid who didn't think it through. I'm not supporting what he did, matter of fact I'm pissed. Now they need to help him really understand what he has done.

Sorry, I'm pissed right now.

J-State......

Remember when I wanted to give some of our players another chance and how evryone wanted to give me the 'beat-down'.............and what they(AAMU players) did wasn't on Nat'l T.V????????????????

Please tell me you were not one of those who were giving me "L" for wanting give some young kid another chance..........just asking?

I agree... take them deep into the shot clock means they have to play defense on every possession and that is waaaaaay more tiring to a "tired" team than running up and down the court freelancing and dunking!

Man, that was so dumb; that shat got my head hurting from a 6 point game to a 13 point game due to an ignorant sucker punch........dumb ass!

I don't care what yall say, that kid is a sore loser. Just like many of today's kids. They can't take the heat. He chocked under pressure and it showed.

Wow that's a lil'bytch move lol....his ass would be off the team

That would've been a bad move. The game plan he used gave his team the best chance.

I was thinking the same thing before the game. I was hoping we would come out running and gunning since MS State was certainly going to be tired (and mentally, they were still in the SEC Championship).

But after watching the game, I think our coaches had a good gameplan. I was very proud of how we played.

Smackboard is a different creature. Like me, I think all swac'ers were pulling for JSU. I wanted so badly for the SWAC to have 2 wins tonight. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN FANTASTIC FOR THE SWAC.
But that does not mean that we are not gonna smack JSU about that dumb crap.

"Trying to be funny, I made a dumb post. I should have waited until the regular season at least started. I will never admit to these facts publicly. I will defend my original post in true George Busch fashion. I should apologize to UAPB, but I won't. I will never apologize to JSU. Never will I admitt that I was wrong."-->Skyvolt2000
