Obama meets with GOP

It's absolutely hilarious watching these republicans trying to deal with Obama. They are dumbfounded as to how to handle him. It's delightful to watch.

This is why I don't do parties...

It's a ll a big game....

Democrats lost elections in big states now Obama sounding like Republican..

The same thing happens when a republican takes office... he gets unpopular with the people than start sounding and doing like the other side...

It's all a game people...

Let me say this again, Obama's own party is keeping his socialist agenda from passing. The approval of Republicans are not needed for Obama to get things done in DC. No one prevented Obama from giving billions to bankers, AIG, Acorn, and etc. No one prevented Obama from taking $85 million of needed funding away from HBCUs. Republicans can say no all they want, but that shouldn't prevent Obama and Democrats from passing their socialist agenda.

The message I got from yesterday was how desperate and scared Democrats are due to recent elections. Now, that's change Republicans can believe in!

The poll of 2,000 Republicans — sponsored by the liberal website but conducted by independent pollster Research2000 — paints a picture of a Republican base that’s angry, disaffected and acutely hostile to President Barack Obama. Thirty-nine percent of Republicans polled think Obama should be impeached, 36 percent say he wasn’t born in the United States and one in four say they aren’t even sure he’s a U.S. citizen. Another 63 percent labeled the president a “socialist.â€

Obama is getting the same fair treatment king George received in reference to high taxation.

There is merit to your statement. To blindly do the party thing is to yield your will or conviction to the lot of others, such is to become a puppet. I also agree that much of what we see is just a game, but given the debt, the on-going deficits, selfishness of most Americans (wanting something for nothing) and no planned strategy of getting out of this mess, this game too will someday end. This cannot continue. There will be a day of reckoning and that is a fact not a possibility (for all debts must be paid).

As for as politician, most have the same Goal:The primary objective of a politician is to secure his or her position as a politician and to advance any issues that support such objective.

:lecture:A word of Wisdom:There is no human solution to earthly problems.

Good Day and God Bless

Yep, high taxation and BS policies will do it every time.:argue2::uzi:

I honestly WISH the Republicans would do (would have done) a better job. Until then, they REALLY have NO room to talk about anybody else's policies. Get your act together, and come harder next election...and actually SERVE THE PEOPLE (not just your rich croonies) IF you ever get back into office.

If it wasn't for rich folks, poor folks wouldn't have a job.......that's why Republicans are against Obama and Dems raising taxes. Raising taxes on these companies translates into laying folks off. Is that wise? I have yet to meet one poor man/woman that offered a job to someone.

I wonder if the Repubs can get Obama's old seat in Illinois? Below is the best political attack the Republicans have ever put together. What were the Democrats thinking when they backed Alexi?:shame:

Alexi Giannoulias: He'd Make Tony Soprano Proud

Well...that explains it all. The rich croonies provide the jobs and hire the "poor" people. So the Republicans feel that it is imperative to look out ONLY for those rich folks, and nobody else.

Basically, the rich are only interested in getting richer, at the expense of everybody else. Big businesses are against Obama because he is an advocate for the success of the small business.

"Keeping things...just the way they are... You stay poor, while I get richer by exploiting your time and talent." -Republican folk (aka Keeper of the Big Business).

Just sad...

I don't know who you work for, but ask your boss what would happen to the employees if taxes are raised on his company. I can assure you the employees will be the first to go due to a cut in company profits. People go into business to make a profit.

There is no excuse why people are poor in America.....no excuse. My father dropped out of school at the age of 14 to care for 12 brothers and sisters. He came from a single parent home, joined the US Navy illegally at the age of 15 by lying about his age. He received his GED at 17 in the Navy and received an honorable discharge after completing 6 years. He used the GI Bill, attended JSU for three years and dropped out because he found out that he was making more money than the English professor. He asked himself a question, "why am I in college and I'm already making good money"? He had his own roofing business, and was a private with the Jackson Fire Department, so he saw no reason to stay in school. He did both of those for 30 years and retired a captain with the fire department. My dad has several businesses and he's doing well for a man with only a GED to his name. I said all of that to say there is no excuse for "ANY" citizen in the greatest country on earth. We have free public school, free bus rides, free books, free lunch, free housing, free food, free college, and etc. There is no excuse for any citizen living in America. If you are poor, born into poverty, and choose not to take advantage of the blessings in this country to get out of poverty; then I could care less if that person stays poor for the rest of his/her life. This is the land where people go from rags to riches in one night, so I have no pity for those who choose not to better themselves. There is no excuse in America.........none.

The role Will Smith played in the "Pursuit of Happiness" is the epitome of how great people can be in this country. Yes, all of us go through trials and tribulations, but what are trials and tribulations to Christians............nothing. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ[a] who strengthens me. Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
