Saints Reggie Bush vs Vikings Percy Harvin, who will have the biggest impact?

Sydney Rice will have the biggest impact.

you are wrong! because the Saints have 2 "shut down" corners that are gonna shut down Sidney Rice.....
And New Orleans receivers are who?

And Minnesota has 4 WR's and a Tight end.
And since when did NO get 2 shut down corners...........:lmao:

Yep.
Cause they acting like New Orleans has a team of Jerry Rices playing the receiver position and a bunch of Lester Hayes playing the defensive back position.

You are funny dude....lol

Are the Vikes even your team?

Nope.
St. Louis fan since WAAAAAAAAAAAAY Back.
Just going with the odds/gut and I like the Vikings in this game.
In fact, I have picked the vikings to win it all.

You are half way there...the winner of the NFC championship will win the Superbowl.... but no way the Vikes are beating this Saints team in the SuperDome... this is going to be the loudest that Dome have ever been in history.... Plus the Saints are simply better...

it was sarcasm because in another thread some Saints fan said they had 2 shut down corners...all i could do was laugh at them:lol:

I guess the fact that we have 4 teams still playing and none went to the Superbowl last year make the hype level go up.
There will be a new SP Champ and it could be one that has not won it in years or never won it at all.

it's sunny and in the upper 60's here.
I'm gonna have to break out the ole grill for these 2 games.
The Piggley Wiggley got them cut up Turkey Wings, (3 per pack), on sale for $5.

I am not saying Harvin is not capable of taking control of this game. I see a match-up problem with him. However, I predict Reggie will have the biggest impact because he has done it to the Vikings before. He ran two punts back for touchdowns in a loss last year. Also, Bush needs to have a good game or he will not see big money next year.

I got the Vikes in this one. And pound for pound New Orleans is not the better team.

Both have great QB's, Minesota has the better Running back, they both have game changing players in Harvin and Bush. Harvin is a better RB than Bush. WR core is even and Jeremy Shockey is hurt. Minnesota Titght end caught 12 TD's this season. So offensively they are about evenly match.

NO has had several injuries in the Secondary and those guys are playing hurt. Minesota has a better DL So not sure how the Saints are simply the better team.

This coming from a Nuetral 49ers fans who grew up watching the Saints in the Sip....

In games like this there are always a few guys on both sides who have unexpected performances. For the Vikings we should look at Bernard Berrian and Chester Taylor coming up with a few big plays in the running and passing game respectively. Berrian has been quiet most of the season due to the great play of Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin.

Berrian is a speedster who can make plays down the field. Taylor is a solid backup running back who can carry the load in terms of carries, and does a great job of coming out of the backfield catching passes. Look for him to come up big on some third downs.

For the Saints, I think you have to look at Pierre Thomas. A very underrated back for New Orleans. The guy can pick up the tough yards inside, and does have the ability to break a long run. Plus, if he is able to run well, it only makes the job of Drew Brees much easier.

This dude asked who the Saints receivers are. LOL

WHo has the better TE? LOL

Come on dude.
None of them are head and shoulders above Minnesotas Receivers.
As for Shockley, it's about time that lazy mofo earned a little of his money.
He ain't done shat in 4 plus years.

Actually the vikings numbers are more impressive since they run the ball more. They are a run first pass team. The Saints are Pass first mix in the run second.

I am not going to give Minnesota the edge with their D line. Now, if the Vikings can keep the Saints in long down and distance they can take advantage of Jared Allen going against Jermon Bushrod. But if the Saints keep it 2nd or 3rd and short I will give the advantage to the Saints.

WRONG... The Saints have more rushing attempts, yards, yards per cary, and TD than the Vikings this season.
